How the hell did we lose the Acura when Honda is in the game LOL

Probably different set of license but then Grid has weird choices when it comes to licensing. They got the Mclaren license for the Can Am but that is the only Mclaren they took, we somehow lost a Dodge Challenger in the Muscle class while Dodge Viper GTS-R is there in GTE class and Dodge Challenger Demon is in a new Pro Muscle car class. Plymouth is part of Dodge and the Plymouth AAR 'Cuda for Muscle class is missing too.

The multiplayer preview videos might have an incomplete car list too, I do hope those cars are included in the.

Seriously codemasters should make a dlc pack dedicated to 1998 and 1999 Lemans. Also Gt1 of the 90s with the Mclaren F1 GTR, Porsche 911 GT1(993), Lotus Esprint GT1, Ferrari F50 GT.

That would be a cracking dlc.

Doubt they will do that but I do hope they bring a Mclaren F1 GTR, Ferrari F50 GT and Nissan R390 GT1 over, they seem to brought a few pCARS cars over and I don't mind they take more to fill up the current GT1 class to a full 6 cars class.

Adding the Audi 90 IMSA GTO for the Vintage GT class will be great too.

Honestly at this point I wouldn’t look too much into all the info and wait for any further official news. In Kent Hammer’s multiplayer video from yesterday I saw this :

That makes it look as if the Mazda RX-7 is the only car in the Clubman Drift category. However, I have previously already seen a Subaru BRZ Drift-Tuned appear in another video, sadly I don’t know anymore which video so I can’t link it. But that can’t be a left-over car from GRID 2019 (like we suspect from the Alfa 155 TS) since the BRZ wasn’t in GRID before. Why it is not shown in the above screenshot…. I don’t know. 🤷‍♂️ But that might be the reason why the Acura Prototype isn‘t shown where it should either. Maybe there is a bug in the multiplayer car selection screens that sometimes it shows just 1 car instead of all thè possible cars? 🤷‍♂️

The next frame of that livestream did show that the BRZ was unticked for some reason, that's probably why it isn't shown when he was choosing the car classes:

About the missing cars I mentioned, the screenshot posted by Nobfung did show the list of cars available for selection. For example the Muscle class has all cars ticked, the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Cuda AAR from Grid 2019 has no listing for it:

As for the Acura DPI, it is also no listing for it as well. When the menu showing a multi class of Prototype and Vintage Protoype there is only 3 cars to choose from:

Those cars are either cut or just missing in this multiplayer preview build that youtubers got it.

Also, now that I see a Beltra made it into prototype racing, that might be... because they lost the Acura? I don’t know.

Your last screenshot is a bit weird as well, isn’t the Porsche 962C supposed to be part of Vintage Prototype as well? To go along the Mazda 787B. Or have they put the Porsche in its own separate category?

I guess that might be the reason to make a fictional car fill in that slot but I still hope the Acura returns, more cars per class the better it is.

Porsche 962C should be in the same class with the Mazda 787B but I think it is missing in that list because it is part of the Ravenwest pack pre order bonus.

Same goes to the Aston Vantage GT4 and Ginetta GT4 for the GT4 class, both cars are part of the Ravenwest and Seneca pack pre-orders bonus:

I wonder will Grid Legends get a 10 hours trial with EA Play, will be a great to try out the game before buying it, I like what I'm seeing with Grid Legends so far but I don't like Grid 2019 when I try it with game pass.

Same goes to the other 5 cars from pre-order bonus and deluxe edition bonus. Those cars are likely locked behind those DLC.

There is also a positive way to look at this. GRID 2019 launched with 66 cars, GRID Legends will launch with over 100 cars. For every car they leave behind from GRID 2019 we will get something new instead. ☺️ I just hope there won’t be too many duplicates (like GRID Edition cars) in that number.

I don't think there are any "Grid Edition" this time and we got a lot of new car classes despite not many new addition to Grid 2019 car classes.

Most of the cars that somehow got cut out as pre order and deluxe bonus are not too bad in general, TCR, GT4 and Time Attack class still have 3-4 cars to choose from. Porsche 962 from the Ravenwest pack will be annoying for me, it pretty much turn the Vintage Prototype class into 787B series.

There is only Okatama as a location but it has 6 sprints. It’s actually just 1 long course but then they chop it up in sub-sections and do everything in reverse as well.

Something is off with licesing in GRID. In 2019 there was also lack of Mercedes Benz... And only one Mclaren Can Am without any F1 etc...

Toyota haven't come back to any Codemasters games too, the last time it appear was in DiRT 3 and Grid 1. Toyota could have fill up a huge selection of car classes in both Codemasters franchise.

EA is interested in doing it, in fact I saw the draft article today

We can’t simply blog out whatever we like whenever, gotta make sure everything is 100% confirmed etc. before putting it live Updating a website and coordinating the stuff around that takes time.

tldr: Confirmed launch list is coming, sit tight.
