Congrats! The 50 daily race trophy is the only one left for me, but I’m in no big rush. I’ll get there when I get there. Well done Luiz!

Welcome to RioIf I’m not around this evening it’s because I’m part of ~164,000 that lost power Tuesday afternoon. Possibly not back until Friday at some point. Sleeping in 98 degree weather isn’t fun.
I would just mention that here in the States, the Google DNS's are different. USA Google DNS: 1.0.0.1 and 1.1.1.1 These happen to be the fastest (free) DNS service I've found (tested all I could find). Unfortunately I've got to stick with these as I've got a PiHole sitting between the router (also highly modified) and all my devices. If I make a change, I got to change settings in my router and PiHole... which will break my internet for everything else... a pain in the arse.As Eric said, there is another thing that we can also try that 'might' help us with the lagging issue and that is to all use the same DNS setting. This is very easy to do. I was going to suggest this in party chat tomorrow but probably best to post this now. Some of you guys will already know how to do this. The DNS setting we wil try is the Google one.
For guys that do not know how to do this I will try and explain.
On PS go to 'Settings' and then select 'Network' Next select 'Set Up Internet Connection' Here we have a choice of 'Use WiFi' or 'Use Lan Cable' Select the one you are using and then select 'Custom'
If on WiFi you now have to choose your Wifi and enter your password.
After that for both WiFi and Lan next choice is 'IP Address Settings' keep this at 'Automatic'
'DHCP Host Name' keep this at 'Do Not Specify'
'DNS Settings' select 'Manual'
'Primary DNS' (this is where we change the DNS) You will probably see 0.0.0.0 Delete these by using the X in bottom left hand corner. Then enter 8.8.8.8 Select 'Done' Then highlight and enter 'Secondary DNS' here we enter 8.8.4.4 Click 'Done' and then 'Next
'MTU Settings' keep at Automatic
'Proxy Server' keep at 'Do Not Use'
Then 'Test Internet Connection'
Any problems I will help with in party tomorrow
Those are CloudFlare free DNS numbers. CloudFlare is a technology partner to Google. I was looking at CloudFlare but decided Google might be the better option because of the following reviewI would just mention that here in the States, the Google DNS's are different. USA Google DNS: 1.0.0.1 and 1.1.1.1
Having one person on a different DNS would not make a real differenceI use openDNS in my router because they have other services that help make using other devices than consoles safer.
Hah! Ya know, there was a little voice in the back of my head that said to me, as I was writing my response, these might be Cloudfare" Damn, it sucks to get old and start loosing one's mind... Thanks for the correction Steve! And I apologize for the confusion. Those are CloudFlare free DNS numbers. CloudFlare is a technology partner to Google. I was looking at CloudFlare but decided Google might be the better option because of the following review
'In terms of speed, Google Public DNS outperforms Cloudflare. This is because of several things, including global coverage, more servers, and a shared cache'
This is just to try and see if we can find a way that might help us improve the lagging Chris. I do not know if it will help or not.
