Greetings all.

I'm Patrick, (42 years old)
I noticed this group a while back when considering joining up for some online racing for fun and then noticed the age limit was still a ways off for me.
However, I see now that you actually do events where "younger" folks can join in and I will send a request for the event tonight when I get home from the office.

Also, I'm supposed to say hello to (I believe) pmallard. I'm Chris's friend.

Today’s update has added some lobby improvements, so now room settings can be saved and loaded. A great benefit to our wonderful lobby hosts! Good things take time, but that should have been in the game since day one.

Edit: Another huge improvement is the ability to access the Race Shop from the lobby to buy tires and parts you might need for a race. The parts available are ballast and power restrictor.

Still no way to monitor participant‘s settings, ie. power, weight etc. But maybe the next update????

Sunday 31st July 30 Min Event

Lobby opens at 10:00 ET, 15:00 UK. Practise/ Qualification starts at 10:05 ET 15:05 UK

We will race the Gr4 Renault Megane Trophy '11 @ Tokyo South Counterclockwise for 15 laps.
The tyre multiplier is x14 and the fuel is x6. We start with a full tank.
Tyres for the race are RM and RH. Both sets of tyres must be used for the race, qualification tyre is open choice.
Practise/Qualification for 20 minutes. 5 min break before race.


Other Lobby Settings:
Preset Weather, S01 Dry Cloudless and Pleasant, MIDNIGHT
BOP OFF
Tuning Prohibited. Brake controller ok to use.
Rolling Start
Fastest First
Boost Off
Slipstream Weak
Shortcut Penalty OFF
Pit Lane Cutting Penalty OFF
Flag Rules OFF

Thanks for the races yesterday, had a fun time. I'll definitely be back for more when my schedule allows for it.

Still getting the hang of the racing wheel after spending so much time using the PS5 controller. Feels like the haptics on the controller gave me a better warning about loss of traction than the force feedback from my TM T300RS wheel.

Qualify: fastest first for every race
Penalty System: on
Boost: OFF
Slipstream: ON Strong

Laps: 9
Ford Focus RS '18 - 600PP
Max Power: 278 HP
Min Weight: 2540 lbs
Tires: Sport Soft

Second race: Watkins Glen International

I only used the T300 RS once, years ago. I don't remember now what it felt like. On the other hand, the quality of their T-GT force feedback for understeer is amazing.

Anyone done the Tokyo 600? Does the AI pit once or twice during that race and what tires did you use because wet tires wore out in like 3 laps?

It’s Fernando Alonso doing starts for four minutes. This website and YT and F1 never play together nicely.

When tuning the SC430 for Luiz race tomorrow please try and use a new settings sheet as this is the car we are racing on Sunday with stock settings.
