Thanks Mastr but I use Praiano's personally as they are spot on for how I drive. I have tried other tunes but cannot get on with them.

Oh, I see you have a link. i might try one 👍
I don't how Praiano tunes, but I tune to eliminate handling problems, such as exit oversteer, with stock power and weight, reasonable tires, and for fuel and tire wear, so expect mine to be a bit different.

I have noticed that he mostly has one tune per car but, at the same time, his cars can be very modified. That makes some of his tunes inappropriate for, say, custom racing. His Challenger R/T, for example, is 700 PP and modified. Mine won't be.

Same here. His setups always help put us (if I could drive!!) in the mix but he always recommends folks personalize them if they choose. I don't know how the heck he can crank his setups out and then post them as quickly as he does but he's always been pretty good for my way of driving EVEN IF I can't drive them as quickly as they can be driven :cheers:

If you know how. A lot of players don't, which was why I tried to learn how myself. Some tuners like power-oversteer. I don't because it is too unpredictable and unproductive, so I needed a different tune.

Apologies guys but I need to change the car for this week. I did not realize that the car I had chosen was not a Brand Central car. John does not have it and there may be others. We will be using this car later in the seasom and it is in the Legend dealership now for 2.7M

We are changing to the GR3 GT-R Nismo '13

I would like to say a big thank you to John and Markhu who have just spent nearly 4 hours in a lobby with me testing Nitrous 👍

The testing was really positive and both guys will be using it for this weeks race. We have decided on some numbers for the race and will be tweaking them, if needed, post race. John will use the nitrous, he is unsure though as to how long he can keep up the pace.

I have not had time to work out fuel and tyre wear as well yet. I will try and post these tomorrow.

Cory: I took a look at tuning the Porsche 996. Running it at 700 PP would take it out of its comfort zone. Running it a 600 PP, without increasing its power, is much more manageable. In fact, I used Sport Soft tires, to calm it down; and added front downforce, to help it turn. It is very light on the front end, of course, so adding up to 50 to the front probably wouldn't hurt, but the downforce did the job.

I tuned it on Nordschleife, so the settings should be able to handle most tracks. You still have to drive it enough to get familiar with it.

The car was sadly a disaster. I think I know how to drive but that one got me. Not mad. Disappointed. I’ll live. It was so nice in GT Sport.
