I wouldn't imagine there's much of a market for the Caddy in Europe, the previous ones never sold well.
Which is why it's a great idea to have that as the GT3 car.Because GM, being American is completely oblivious to a world outside of the U.S.A....
We should find out in the WSCC next year, all stock FIA GT3 in GTD and I believe there will be at least 1 Viper. It held it's own in the fake GT3 spec this year with those awful tires. The car's made by Riley, should have fantastic potential. Its kinda hard to see why the Cadillac GT3 hasn't been bought and used in Blancpain, as far as I can I know the PWC is almost all SRO spec GT3 cars, so its results should be noted, its probably best if they want to sell the GT3 car overseas then the factory team should put 2 in the Spa 24h, prove its worth,
The GT3 Viper on the other hand, we have no idea just how well that would do in proper GT3 spec with a pro driver in it, that's not hard to see why no one has bought one in Europe,
I thought about it for a while and it sounds similar to the new Ford GT.That's my gripe with it. I love the rawness of the engine (turbo chirp be rare these days), but it's not a Ferrari. Sounds like a Datsun.![]()
There's been one racing in belguim. The GT3 Viper on the other hand, we have no idea just how well that would do in proper GT3 spec with a pro driver in it, that's not hard to see why no one has bought one in Europe,
Oh yeah, that's the Belgium Supercar Challenge or something right? I believe that series also has a modified 2006 Viper GTS-R which has a V8 in it. Plus some crazy Volvo's.There's been one racing in belguim.
Youre right. Does feature at the front regularly. Ran by Team RaceArt.There's been one racing in belguim.

That car isn't a Riley Tech car, they built that one in house because they thought they could do it better and cheaper,
![]()
Umm, what? I've read multiple times that it's a Riley Tech Viper.
Once a car has been homologated you can't build another.I watched the season opener on youtube, they said they built it in house, it may have just been assembled,

Still a Riley car customer car number 2Yeah, but GT open is fairly "open" to what cars can and cant be used, I'm fairly sure I seen an MR Volvo in the race....
The guy at Reiter named the Camaro the SaReNi because those are the initials of his three daughters (1st 2 letters each). So I found out something interesting regarding one of the European-only GT3 cars and I want to see If one of you can guess what it is just by this clue: Three kids

It was in that GT3 news post a while back.![]()
Sabrina, Rebecca and Nina. And just like that, you ruined the gameAnd for your information, "That guy" was Hans Reiter
Can you name them though?![]()
Sabrina, Rebecca and Nina.
I cheated and went back.![]()
So is it legal in other championships? Sounds like it was just a French homologation for that championship. Awesome none the less. 👍Not sure if this has been posted already.

Its like they have taken an Audi R8 and done everything possible to ruin it
That thing is closer to a DTM car than a GT3. Carbon tub made by Dallara with a GT-R engine stuffed in it.So is it legal in other championships? Sounds like it was just a French homologation for that championship. Awesome none the less. 👍
The previous article (#3534) has a story on it being re-tuned and nerfed down to GT3 spec for a French series.Where does it say its a GT3, in the article it says its replacing the Megane as the One make series Renault has in its World series group of races, it claims to be faster then a GT3 in the Article.
