Woohooooo! Lookie lookie here! Yeah, I like that.

I just recently rediscovered the Trans Am series and found the racing to be pretty spectacular. The series is split into 3 classes: TA, TA2 and TA3. My personal favorite and favorite among most is the TA2 class as its the biggest and most consistent class, TA is just a faster, more insane version of that, and TA3 is productions cars.

Here's their opening race at Sebring in which all 3 classes take part:

My Personal Favorites of the season are the Lime Rock Park and Mid Ohio races when TA2 is in their standalone races.

I love Trans-Am. Doesn't matter if it's the glory days of old or the more modern GT-like machines of today, this is great racing. I think it's great this series is getting a bit more popularity these days. Amy Ruman is the truth in today's Trans-Am.

The TA2 cars are my favorites in that series as well, those things are amazing. It sucks that the series has fallen on such hard times. It's recovered since its mid-2000's collapse, but it's still not quite recovered yet. TA2 will be a great asset to the series though I think, it's extremely good looking and the cars there are mostly new (TA looks to be made up mostly of cars that were around before the collapse it seems, aside from the new C7 TA car).
