Aww too bad about the AMGs. It is awesome to see that Montecalvo finally got bumped to GT. And GTS looks like it will be better than ever this year!

So freaking pumped!!!!

Is there any video of this incedent?
I don't know if there's any footage online but I caught footage on TV. It was a pretty nasty shunt in the Senna Chicane.

Q1 for the AGT was pretty tame. Expecting faster times during Q2 later this afternoon, it's quite warm here this afternoon so the setting sun will improve those lap times.

Doesn't feel right watching footage on TV though. I haven't actually watched live footage from this event for well over a decade. Can't wait to get there early on Saturdsy to catch the GT cars out on track for Race 2.

The M6 look like it will punch the other cars in their grills. :D
While the AMG GT, from the front, reminds me of the Vision GT car. Looks nasty in matte black. Makes the SLS look soft.

The AMG-GT3 looks wicked on track! As does the M6.

A shame Griffith already put some damage on the new Merc...

BMW Japan:eek:

Roger Lago won the first AusGT Championship race in his Gallardo.

A safety car hurt teams who had the pro driver in at the start, and Roger was quicker then expected.

Also, there was a great live TV moment when we were onboard with Antunnes in the McLaren. He was following Morcom (?) when Greg Taylor spun his Audi infront of them both on the exit of T7. It was a near miss, I'll try to get a clip and post it hear later :)
