And what about that car with the broken front wheel that was towed away? Just leave it?

Don't take 5 minutes to send someone out to pick up a wing and utilize access routes around the track.

There was no reason for them to drag it all the way around the track, taking up way too much time and possibly causing further damage.

Sucks, wanted to see Bryan take that win. Guess those rear tires just couldn't hold on.

On to the next.

Yeah great battle, Long was just sitting back. The vet experience paid off there. Still great finish for Bryan. GTS next, I'm almost more excited for that.

It still took far too long for them to get to either location. They were just arriving at the Porsche when they came back from "commercials" and the wing was still there with nobody by it. It may have only been 2 laps, but it was 1 too many in my view.
Lucky for the track marshals and the drivers on the track you are not in charge of their safety then.

So please enlighten me on why they need to take 5 minutes to go out on the track? If you're that worried maybe they should just use the red flag instead of the yellow one.

I'm not saying they should be sent out under green flag conditions, but it doesn't take 5 minutes for cars to slow down. Even IMSA is more responsive than they were.

Show me some proof that it took "5 minutes" to get the field slowed down.

No, because I never said that...

:odd:

Peter Hackett just t-boned his brand new Merc AMG GT3 into the side of the latest Audi R8 LMS of Koundouris. McLarens took each other out in the background.
Dreadful way to start the AusGT race.

Also, Fox missed most of the first lap with ads. Not happy.

They're just trying to be like their American parents.

OK then show me some proof that it took 5 minutes to get out on the track.

-Caution comes out
-Announcers cut to "Commercial" after a moment or two
-When announcers return both Porsche and wing are sitting on track with no vehicles near by.

Commercial breaks are usually 3-4 minutes, add onto that the time between the caution and the break and you have 4-5 minutes.

Carrera Cup at Adelaide was a bit wild the previous race. Hope this race serves up an intense one.

Christopher Mies:
I recorded this video during our Test for the Blancpain GT season with W Racing Team in a new Audi R8 LMS 2016.

It rained during the night, so the track was a bit damp and we used the time to have some fun :-)

Once again, my Pivothead glasses did a fantastic job recording all the fun I had :-)

First the V8SC race last night, now this. Not a good weekend for internet streams.

And then my wireless mouse stopped working while typing this.
