Ledogar was getting fed up of the backmarkers so decided to cut half of the track! d'Ambrosio got away with it to win Formula E in Mexico but I don't think Ledogar will be so lucky this time.

That corner cut though.

Bentley finally gets a penalty for speeding under FCY 4 hrs ago.:odd:
I think that is a separate incident (just slowing down too late), the one where it pulled out half a minute on the McLaren looked like it was because the Boutsen BMW was going slowly in front of the #58 for a long time.

Finally got to watch the Blancpain 1000 at Paul Ricard,

The track limit abuse is insanity!!! And the SRO should be embarrassed, and they did stuff all to enforce it,

Not exactly sure why they would do that, but I got ya.

Main race starts around ~43:00.

Its like a 20 minute highlights program prior to the main race in the live broadcast, so I'm guessing they just publish it as it was broadcasted,

Serious question time. Every team, be it Garage 59, M-Sport, RML, AKKA ASP, HTP, Rinaldi Racing, GRT and whomever are all running 2 cars, so why are WRT allowed 3x more?

Either those two car teams do not have the scope or ability to field more cars, or the desire to do so. WRT very likely makes a lot of money from people coming to them wanting them to run their cars, and have the desire and resources to do so.

With Audi WRT, its only the 2 pro cars that are officially theirs, the rest are all rented, the up side is that being a paying AM driver with WRT only can offer benefits with the spare driver pool Audi has,

They could at least make the cars look different.
Completely agree, and what's worst is that I don't even like WRT's base livery. It's not bad, but Audi's tend to have really awesome schemes that easily outclass it. Phoenix usually doing a good job of not only making their cars look different, but look better as well.

The downside is that you've got 5 cars from the same team that could potentially serve to block/hamper the progress of a car that's battling with another WRT Audi instead of just one, as was the case in the qualifying race at Nurburgring this weekend. Twice, Rob Bell stumbled upon a matte black Audi while chasing Ide in the closing minutes.

That's the nicest looking GT3 car for years. The overall shape hasn't been butchered by flimsy aero like the current R8 and the Huracan. I hope it gets a few nice liveries to complement it.
