GT Racing - GT1, GT3, Blancpain Endurance Series & National GT SeriesSports Cars

I suspect Lotus or Morgan, since those two are the only ones I see being capable of homologating a GT3 vehicle, or having a vehicle capable of being homologated. Unless this is a regional GT3 vehicle like the Ginetta.

Though we could be blindsided by a sudden TVR appearance... of course Holden could just tell us (since he hasn't stated he couldn't), but alas he's being coy.

Because the company don't want anyone to know? And who am I to steal their thunder.
Not exactly the answer I was looking for.

Did you see these pictures from a representative of the company? Or did some guy with a camera manage to snap them and show them to you and you're too high on the horse to share with us?

And you don't know when we'll find out about this car?

Might not have been the answer you were looking for but I still answer it and you will find out at some point next year.

The chassis is just about finished and parts are currently being tested on other cars racing in other series just now.

There's only so much info that can be spoken about, if too much is said then not only could it affect my involvement in motorsport but others aswell and I'm not willing to risk that.

I only meant what I said earlier because it was the obvious answer, I know the company doesn't want anyone to know... otherwise we'd know.

And in the future, ignorance is bliss. If you can't share more meat, don't dangle the carrot and expect us to just go "Eh, oh well." I'd rather be in the dark 100%.

And going off of what you've said, my guess is Lotus for sure then.

Its most likely Lotus...might be testing parts on their old GTE and GX cars in International GT Open. The only other guess that I can think of could be...Radical, or...TVR? :odd: What part of the UK is this manufacture based?

****** now I'm going to be waiting months for this ****.

Surprised no one thought a wraith gt3 car after bentley doing the cgt, that would be awesome.
That would be awesome!

But what cars would BMW/Rolls be using to test their parts for it?

On an un-related note:

Not likely to see this very often.

Oh sweet! Good to see that old GT1 Vette' still being used in anger. :D What a rare sight to see both the old GT1 and GT2 cars competing in the same series.

That's awesome!

Would you rather have a Z4 or a M6?

I'd use the money for the M6 to buy an Aston V8 Vantage. :P I'm not truly a BMW fan, I've always just loved the absolute wildness of the Z4 GT3 and GTE race cars. Given the choice between the two though (Z4 or M6), obviously the M6.

BMW didn't make a V8 Z4.
Oh yeah that. I always wondered about how it was allowed. I figured it was because the engine was borrowed from the old M3 and therefor technically "production" just showing off another engine. You've got a point though. At least the M6 has a V8 from the ground up.

They never made a V8 E46 either, and that didn't stop them from racing it that way... Oh wait, yes, it did. Which makes me wonder why Porsche doesn't slap turbos on their GTE/GT3 cars... you know, if loopholes work for BMW, they work for everyone.

M3 GTR says hi

Which could be yours for 250 000$, if you were one of the ten people stupid enough to buy one. Which, I presume, no one did, because aside from 4 other pictures or so, there's absolutely no documentation whatsoever anywhere.

More people than that bought that car...and it wasn't 250,000 grand. The car was a high performance version of the M3. Besides, the class that that car was entered in wasn't like any GT we have now.
