GT3000 or any version of GT500 at the Ring would be asking for trouble, those cars are way too fast.
Not only that, but he was driving an SP9 class R8 on Saturday...
Youre right. Its group C.@FrzGT Group B was only ever raced by like 1 car at Le Mans, and that was in 1986 and 1987.
Group C was in the 80's and the fastest lap was actually set in 1971 by a ~600bhp Porsche 917, on a much faster version of the track with no corners and when deaths were still common.
The JAFGT300 cars have anywhere from 340 to 420-ish, the GT3 cars just around the same as they have in Blancpain trim, GT500 is just territory you don't want to go into.Really? Don't GT 300 only have like 300hp?

JAFGT300 cars go directly against the GT300 GT3 cars - so 4 seconds quicker than GTE cars. How is that asking for trouble? That (in some cases) almost 200hp less than the GT3 cars o.O
GT300 is asking for trouble, GT500 is pretty much on par with LMP1. Even toning it down, they'd be way too fast.
2 seconds 1:37 compared to 1:39GTE cars are roughly 4 seconds slower than GT300 class GT3 cars. I do like GTE cars more as a whole though.
Because GT300 cars have insane downforce and are generally much lighter then GT3 cars. How is that asking for trouble? That (in some cases) almost 200hp less than the GT3 cars o.O
Fuji LMP1 record - 26.2, GT500 last year, 28.7, this year the cars are already 2 seconds up on last year.Ehhh, more like LMP2 territory. LMP1-L at the most.
36.7, 40.2. The 36 incidentally set by a GT3 GT-R.2 seconds 1:37 compared to 1:39
For Q or race? Q was verging on damp and the race was a washout, remember. So they did get a tad faster. After looking around it appears most are around the area I said they were in though (last year).
See, I pay attention to all of GTPlanet's racing drivers, not just the ones with NISMO on their chestI did yes.

...remember.
The M6 is honestly the GT3 I'm most looking forward to. Looks more like a GT2 or GTE car in my eyes - not fussy like the new R8/Huracan, but chunky. It's like if Tonka did GT cars.Yeah I do as well, the aero packages look a lot more tidy compared to some of the GT3 cars, though GT3 is still a favorite of mine,

The next VLN race will be on the 25th of April, which is also the Qualifying race for the 24h race. Give's them 3 weeks time to do the right thing.
Take a time to not let this accident happen againI did yes.
If I remember it was 2014 or 2013 when I saw the images of the Nissan GTR GT3 at "Flugplatz" get massive amounts of air.
Neither in the Porsche GT3 R's or the Audi R8 Ultra which I raced on the weekend we get this much front upforce !
I have no experience on or with the Nissan GTR so I can't comment on the aero of that car, but on the Audi and Porsche's the level of downforce for the Nordschleife is carefull adjusted so that at Flugplatz and Schwedenkreuz the car doesnt get "uplift" and dirty air.
The fact that all the top spec cars are now temporary banned from racing on the Nordschleife just shows that the authorities are now looking into the aerodynamics of the specific cars. Considering that there hasn't been any issues with airborne cars until now, I personally don't see this ban last too long.

Slightly offtopic, but even in GT6 the GTR GT3 attracts more lift than other GT3 cars. At some time I play online it does almost exactly like IRL which it does aneurysmic. I believe the rear downforce and the suspension complimented the accident.

Well when in game car is crashed, I probably just lose some position and back to the race. Probably got some giggle out of it.Err...
Where do aneurysms come into this?
Fuji LMP1 record - 26.2, GT500 last year, 28.7, this year the cars are already 2 seconds up on last year.
But in 2014 they had a massive Regulation change.Looking at the 2013 results - the last year both series raced in the dry - from the WEC and Super GT (GT500 class) races. I have the LMP1's at 1.26.xx laps and the GT500's at 1.33.xx laps.
I play BEFORE the accident happen. Are you saying that you had a similar accident in GT6 and that that incident can now be considered a funny aneurysm?
Well it does look like one of the major factor of that flip. The infamous flipping Mercedes had one.A lot of people are saying that they should get rid of the flat bottom the problem then is people will start doing what prodrive did with the Mondeo in the BTCC when flat bottoms where banned.
