I do not know if it's a bug or where the problem is. I usually drive cockpit but sometimes i have slowdowns and lags. only in this view when i change the view all is fine. i have a ps4 pro and play in 4k.

I have the same issue, & am on the standard PS4.

Recently I started to have only 50% of the accelerator, in the game or online, and only happens in GTSport.
Does anyone know how to solve it? Thank you

My case is resolved. the R2 button was no longer making enough pressure .. a rubber washer solves the problem.

Been running Megane Trophy today on Yamigawa+Miyagi and been seeing this weird bug only happening to the meganes in which the car casts like a ghost from itself (sort of like a 3D effect), wondering if it may have been me who was touched some video setting or the graphics just bugging out

I've now had several races where I've had a clean race (as in, the game congratulated me on having a clean race), but then showed that my SR hadn't changed at all. I even had a race where I had a red SR icon after having a clean race.

Had a sound bug on the Horse Thief Mile Circuit Experience. When watching the replay afterwards, the car sounds go very wrong.

Achievements shows that I played the game for 578 hours but driven 685 hours. Shouldn't the play time always be larger than the drive time? How can I drive so long and but have the game running for less?

Achievents are way off. The only thing i've done last 6 months is pick my Tomahawk and get daily marathon reward and turn the game off... Yet, according to driving time and distance, my average speed is 50km/h.

framerate issue on blue moon bay. I tested it and as soon as I'm on the finishing line and cars overtake, the picture starts to get weird. I also think on the Nordschleife at night. do not think that it is a performance problem. so and if in the menu after inactivity animated a car is the fan of ps4 pro loud and only then.

Hi guys,

I've done a search and couldn't find my bug reported... 'looking left and right button config'

I'm a pad user and use a traditional layout that I've used forever (R3 accelerate & brake, L1&R1 change gears, L2&R2 look left/right).

I've been lazy up to the last update and used auto gears So not sure if this problem existed before the last update.

I've now moved to manual gears as it gives me more control and my preferred layout (As has been in the past) is:
L1 - change down, R1 - change up
L2 - look left, R2 - look right

Although there is the option to have this layout, once you choose it and go out of the settings menu it reverts both view buttons to 'n/a' - yet one option will store (only one) although it says 'n/a'... so when in a room with friends I ask them to pass me on the right as it won't let meet look left ... hardly practical and very hard to check where opponents are when racing dailys - I'm completely reliant on the radar.

Im really struggling, and since I'm so old don't like change... swapping the to L2&L3 for gears doesn't work for me, is not ergonomically friendly for me... it's really grinding my gears...

Any advice....?

CE-34878-0 is a network or actual PS4 problem?? I have been getting these blue screens since I started playing the game in December of 2017 when my PS4-Pro and GTS was brand new. I deleted all of my replays and re-initialized GTS 2 times in the last 2 months and I am still having this problem. It happened 2 times to me today in the span of an hour, both times I tried entering Daily Race C, i eventually gave up and turned the game off. Anyone have any ideas? I used to send the report to PS all the time as suggested but as nothing comes of it I stopped doing this. Im getting ready to throw my PS4 out of my front window next time this happens.

Seriously though it's most likely a connection problem. If you haven't already, maybe try go to PS settings. 1)Test the connection. 2)Try disconnecting and reconnecting to the network. 3)Try an alternate method of connection. If wired then switch to wi/fi, or vice versa and test connection again. 4)If using wifi, try to turn off all nearby devices that may interfere with the signal. ie a smart phone may degrade your signal by auto updating while you're playing.

I'm no expert. I just feel your pain.

Thanks for the help. My connection speed was good. I almost always have 4 bars when racing, even using a wired attachment. I have tried connecting with a cable for about 2 weeks and I still had the same CE-34878-0 errors so I quit connecting with a cable.

I did this 2 times already. My wife bought an external hard drive, we saved all of my game data on that remote hard drive then went thru the PS instructions and went thru the initialization procedure 2 separate times. It takes about 2-3 hours to do all of this, unfortunately the very next day after the first initialization I got the CE 34878-0 blue screen again.

I would like to find out if this is a network or Playstation 4 error, my PS4-Pro should still be under warranty.

Not sure if this help. This person claims you need 2 files to upgrade HD.

I repeatedly had people just driving through me as though I wasn't there .
As far as I'm aware there was no lag from myself or the other cars .

I hadn't been lapped so wasn't ghosted either . This really put me off going down the straights of la sarthe and I ended up spinning out and finishing last due to the surprise of a car appearing through mine .
I also had this happen on Wednesdays manufacturers race too again . I saw no lag from myself or other cars .
I got called a Muppet after this race by the person that drive through me . Which surprised me as I believe didn't do anything wrong .

This has ruined my manufacturers racing the last couple of races .

Anyone else experienced this at all ?

Anyone noticed the ridiculous downshifts on the merc f1? Spoilt the update for me so far as I was looking forward to it but it’s a bag of **** sandwiches

1.23 update resets all top leaderboard scores in the Mission Challenges. This happened in some of the earlier updates, and they reverted back to previous leaderboards... but currently my top10 times are gone. It still says my personal best is 59.842, but now the number 1 time is 1:05.345. They better revert back to the top times again!!

I've noticed that as soon as you change from the Mercedes F1 car to another car, you cannot access the Mercedes F1 in the Garage any more, unless you enter via the One Make Race and force it to show up. I assume this is due to PD's new sorting of what 'customisable livery' cars are in the Garage.

EDIT: Ignore this, derped out on the Livery car selector rather than the actual Garage.

The leaderboards were wiped because of the tweaks to the tire model. Those times are no longer representative. You will find that times for gold/silver/bronze have also been changed.

Yes I just tried it. It seems like the clutch is operated while the brake pedal is pressed. Until you release the brake, the car won't downshift! What a disappointment...

Thank you PD! somebody back in the development team heard my woes and fixed the button configuration issue with the 1.23 update...

Even though it seems only to have bothered me, thanks are owed all the same. Now I can bee overtaken on the left OR right and I can see the driver glaring at me with a superior, smug grin behind their newly painted helmet.

Would've been nice if they had let us know the circuit experience times were being wiped.

My friends and work colleagues had spent hours bettering each others times.

Could've wrote them down if I'd known they were going.
