GT Sport SVG request thread (Please read 1st post)

Would love to see someone with mad skills do this one. Most of the manufacturer logos are already in the game but the bottle and color splashes would be tricky.

I've never met Lorenzo Trefethen but I talked to his parents recently. He's not racing this season due to lack of sponsors....

Did a couple for you using the fantastic links Barry posted. Those work better than all the other converters I've tried so far. Googled and found these off deviantart, thanks to the original artist

Still having trouble with my DirtyBird fried chicken logo, No matter what I try I cannot get the size down, Ive removed the text because I can make that separately, I tried splitting the bird in half body in one and eyes beak and hair thing in another, Still too bloody big, I am begging now anyone help a fool out please

The text can be ignored, I just really need that logo.

Posted them to the game this morning with a bunch of others I tweaked. Mass Effect, Borderlands, Skyrim, etc. BTW, why does GT censor the word 'Nightingale'? Every dang time. Also apparently you can't type the word 'bang' in the game.

Search my PSN ID Kampaizake for all my decals and liveries.

Largest I can find is this But I can't find a vector version probably down to the logo having a worn look to it they all seem to be that way but honestly even with the worn look removed it would still look just as good if not better. Sorry I can't really be much more help with it.

It will do. I might fake the letters a bit. I don't think think the worn looks is intentional to the logo. It looks like it's a scan from a print.

You can remove the writing, I can make that easily enough Removing the writing will only help reduce the file size afterall.

I'm using Inkscape, and cannot seem to wrap my head around the tracing process. Everyone I make any edits, the file size seems to balloon. Need to say frustration has set in.

Try using Illustrator. It has a 7 day trial and auto trace, managed to get a lot done with it. Get it under 20kb and then use the file shrinker to get any remaining shrinkage needed? Its somewhere in the op of the how to make svg thread. I’ll grab the link for you.

Yeah it’s supposed to be at that angle, that’s why I’ve been struggling to make it in game

Its beyond me tbh. Prob needs reducing to 4/5 colours and all the texturing removing to gave a chance of getting it under 15kb. Ive lost autotrace privileges now my Illustrator trial has run out or Id at least have tried it with that.

I wouldn’t have minded losing the texturing & reducing the colours, but I understand it’s a difficult ask. Thanks anyway!

As my wife the business librarian/archivist says, PD has a lot to learn about metadata, and how to implement searches. No to mention all the nitwits out there that can't properly tag their uploads. (we love your uploads anyway, nitwits )

I think one thing that might help in this thread is if you know specifically of a decal someone is looking for, post the name of the GT user that uploaded it. That's often the easiest way to find things that people don't tag well enough,

I literally searched prodrive and went back a couple of pages....people just need to look properly tbh....and maybe hit follow a bit more often.

It is actually possible to integrate the SVGO optimiser into Inkscape so it is possible to do a "save as optimised with SVGO" this takes a step out of the process which is nice

It was relatively easy to implement as well!

Don't you have a bigger image than this? Or a eps, ai or pdf? If not, the person who made the logo for you must be able to get one for you.
