The same tactics used for GT6

View attachment 497746

Put in the game several shiny cars and wait for preorders.
Nothing new to see here

Not contributing once again AND unfunny.

It'd be hard to be more wrong than what you currently are, really.

Given what he does here in every GT related thread, he'll find a way to do it.

Hopefully that set will be more widely available outside of a solitary online webstore. I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

Definitely interested in that as well. Kinda funny to find this out as I've been customizing a lot of my cars after the Hot Wheels cars I have so this is kinda cool.

I wonder how many HotWheels VGT packs they could sell if they had all of them in one package or a bunch of 3-5 packs. Would be an interesting marketing experiment.

...Hot Wheels, eh?

Hopefully this isn't a sign that GT:S will have physics straight out of SNES Hot Wheels game... I'd be very sad if that happens. :boggled:

I'd take it as a positive move, that Sony and/or PD see the importance of marketing after GT6 had so little. Tie-ins with high quality model companies like AutoArt are fantastic, no doubt, but nobody can really argue the vast reach a brand as huge as Hot Wheels has.

Getting the GT name out - around the time the franchise is showing up on current generation consoles - on a product that is both widely available, and far more affordable than other models that have come before, is a good thing IMO.

Sadness incoming:sly:
Don't they usually cost 1.49 individually? And there's 5 cars... so 7.49... Then, its a special edition pack so... 14.99. :D

If it came free with a premium edition pre-order that was like 10$ extra and had some more stuff. Then that would be awesome, but I still wouldn't buy it. :D
