I'd take it as a positive move, that Sony and/or PD see the importance of marketing after GT6 had so little. Tie-ins with high quality model companies like AutoArt are fantastic, no doubt, but nobody can really argue the vast reach a brand as huge as Hot Wheels has.

Getting the GT name out - around the time the franchise is showing up on current generation consoles - on a product that is both widely available, and far more affordable than other models that have come before, is a good thing IMO.

Hot wheels has a C7.R as part of its "Gran Turismo" pack. Which could mean that this car is in GT Sport. With all of the racing models we saw in the last trailer, this doesn't really surprise me.

Some of you may be interested in the Hot Wheels 1:18 scale edition, bigger and way more detailed than the normal diecast. Maybe the Hot Wheel models are referring to that. But wasn't sure if its as detailed as the AutoArt one. But still good quality.

Don't they usually cost 1.49 individually? And there's 5 cars... so 7.49... Then, its a special edition pack so... 14.99.

If it came free with a premium edition pre-order that was like 10$ extra and had some more stuff. Then that would be awesome, but I still wouldn't buy it.

My son has a pretty awesome collection of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I may need to get these for his collection.... and then put them up on a high shelf he can't reach for no apparent reason...
