Same is true for me, but you can start your ps4 remotely via remote play if you have that installed on your computer, DS4 is not needed to start the ps4. So hope this helps

My guess is that as well as the combined patches this could include the Supra and Audi, perhaps changes to the FIA championships and perhaps even weather....

Nope just bug fixes. The combined patch thing is a sony issue not PD

Some people have metered connections. Some people have DSL-quality connections that would take 24 hours to download that.

Reading all these posts about content updates and posting GT6 patch notes is kinda sad guys.

Don't be so foolish, we knew it was most likely bug fixes before release because the Audi team saying the April update is on the 9th.

I really hope tonight up date will fix sport mode, Tonight in the daily races I got penalties for cars spinning out in from of me with out even touching them, and then I get push in the wall by Another car and I get another penalty it makes no sense to me. And then I was so mad so I quit the race I lost over 2000dr and my 99sr went to 82 wtf, if this happen agine I will only do Lobby races and **** the sport mode, Please pd can we go back to real racing

Same here. I also have a 50mbit connection, but still it's always slow from my PS4. Probably because of the wifi. Does it support 5ghz? Don't remember..

You can play offline arcade and GT League events but you won't be able to save your game data or play online races until the
download is complete so I don't recommend it

It's been like that for a while now, you can't expect an AI to 100% correctly judge who is responsible for what.
I agree on it needing to be improved a lot tho

Its not just GTS, I've read reports of a number of other titles doing the exact same thing today as well (such as Fortnite).

That’s strange I can confirm 100% that my FFB Settings are never reseted. I have them at FFB Strenght 3 and FFB Sensitivity at 9. And it’s definitely always the same. I‘m on T150.

Happens to me on g29 occasionally.

You don’t need to download everything at once. And I think you can skip this one and wait for the next one, when they fix the “thing that verifies the missing content”, because this one is downloading all updates again.

Anyone dare to start a thread about 1.16 " undocumented" changes? I bet a reinstall of this magnitude cant end well for everyone..

Edit: or is just the download for all patches and install for just the 1.16?

Can't believe all the complaining in here, I can't get fibre or cable and so have 4g internet at the patch took less than an hour to download. Unless you have a data limit then it shouldn't be an issue and sounds like a wider PS4 issue and not a GT Sport issue that caused the re-download of all patches

Sounds like it's mistakenly downloading all previous content rather than just the updated data to me so despite downloading 24 gig, only a small portion of it will be new.

Whatever else game you choose will also have big patches. Maybe not 24gb but I’m sure something like PC2 will be close

It most likely looks like a restart of all the previous updates. This has happened to me already with Driveclub. I don't see why some people are getting so worked up about it. Worst case scenario is that I don't get to play today. (Or tomorrow... )
