I thought the new Porsche endurance event on the Catalunya was excellent and the track matched well to this type of class of cars. I like a track that has a bit of all fast straight, fast sweepers and still throws in a bit of more extreme slower technical sectors as well.

Fast flowing sectors are only one part of a driving challenge, late hard braking, direction changes and sectors that only allow slower speeds but require precision in car control and turn in timing for the best lap times are just added challenges and I think show more of a drivers ability under different circumstances and conditions.

The track is fairly short and adding the other sectors to make it longer would be great but I can see this being a circuit I spend a lot more time with.

Is the AI competitive in this event?

Yes they should make new classes.

If not at least make it custom. For the daily race at least it should strictly say race C is for group C only.
BOP is for this sort of thing. No new class needs to be created. I only wish cars like tbe Zonda R were not GRx

Although i understand your point has done a massive step up as far as car audio goes and lets not forget its the "road blocks" they have to face for example one of the cars that sounds totally wrong is the Lexus RC F GT3 its easy for us to say do this do that but Kaz can't go to emil fray and say "Yo emil give me one of your cars for sound recording" or in Pagani's case they waren't able to find a Zonda R to record for whatever resson (like they can't find a way to contact with TVR ) as to were PD spends more time they have different teams for each thing so.... yea At the end of the day ill say its a matter of finding better people for the job (with all due respect to everyone working at PD.)
This game just keeps giving. Amazing!!

Is the AI competitive in this event?

I actually think the AI in the Porsche Endurance events is some of the best AI in the entire game. I do not see the brake checking issues to a level you see with the AI in many other events.

The AI will fight for position, dive bomb, over shoot corners and come back onto the track in front of you and yes they will pit maneuver you (make you feel as if you are in a sport mode race!) if you give them the opportunity.

The AI is not overly dirty but can show aggressiveness which I think is a needed element to make defending against the AI and the AI defending being overtaken part that makes this race fun. Racing against a field of rolling chicanes only does not make for a fun event in my opinion.

You will run with rabbit cars that catch up to "packs" of cars and you will need to work traffic to stay with the mid pack rabbits.

As with any AI once you take the race lead it is easy to build up a gap with no AI around except to pass lapped traffic.

I think with playing with reducing the power and increasing weight of your car a little you can make this one of the best races with AI in the game that would require almost mistake free racing to win.

I really like the lack of stupid actions such as the excessive AI brake checking though.

Can't wait to have a go in the e type . I borrowed a friend's e type for a week when I got married .

It drank fuel like nothing I've experienced before .

Brilliant update again by the looks of it .

Subaru 22B STI Gameplay. Good Supercharger whine, so loud alongside the turbo.

That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works.

I mean, twincharged engines are a thing but the engine of the 22B STI is definitely not one of them.

Wow group 2 NSX drives like crap and the Lambo gr3 still stives like crap.......can somebody tell me why?
NSX is fastes of them all, need skill to tame that beast though... same goes for Lambo... Try it in every other game (at least one worthy trying it), you'll have same feeling, but then again, if you have skill, it'll be the beast...

BoP cannot handle time... Group C cars need to be in their separate group.
Look at the newly added Gr.2, or better to say old SuperGT500 cars... how did they BoP them, by adding 20-30% more power. Those cars were made to handle and drive with around 500hp, and adding 10% more would make cars undrivable. And if you compare BoP'd cars, you'll see how newer SuperGT cars are easy to drive, older ones are so twitchy(too much power).
Those three would better suit in with other GT3 cars then in GT500.
I can imagine if we get even older ones, like the torquie Nissan Z, wonder how would Alfa 155 or Opel Calibra get into the group. And then, there are new DTM's together with new SuperGT, will they be 100/100% and then BoP will add more power to all current cars?
It simply isn't working well... Gr.1 especially needs to be separated, older SuperGT cars are, and always will be worse then newer.

LOL I have just come from a sport race where that happened. I find the AI just don't account for the player most of the time, and act like you don't exist. When they give you a good race though it is quite satisfying, as long as there is a fair chance of beating them with good consistant driving. There is often one corner per circuit where they are way slower than anyone needs to be, allowing overtaking but sometimes ending an otherwise good fight for position too easily.

As for the new Gr2 cars, the 08 Lexus seems the best all rounder out of the old ones, better on tyres and fuel and not so slidey (those are related) but I have seen more people using the 08 NSX out of the new additions, and they either place higher than me, or spin out and quit in last place.

New tracks and cars are well cool additions, and obviously that's what everybody desires with the monthly updates. However what I really want in the next update is some new music. The current playlist is very very good, excellent even, but after 6 or 7 months of playing GTS it's wearing a bit thin.

Yeah, I know I can turn the music off, and I guess the licensing of new music is probably cost prohibitive, but please PD, a bit of new music if you can - maybe ask Sony with a "pretty please" - they've got a big portfolio of the stuff.

Let's put that to the test then!

Proof:

WEC Pole at Spa (GTE) - 2:12.4
Spa 24H pole (GT3) - 2:18.5

Then go to Le Mans.

GTE pole in 2017: 3:51.
The new Vantage GT3 running the 2018 Aston Martin festival meeting, with no BoP applied - 3:51
The M3 GT2 in 2010 - 4:01.

You've completely misread my post. I didn't want to compare the M3 GT to a GT3 car, I wanted to compare a GT3 car like the Mercedes AMG GT to the Zonda R. But now that you've mentioned it...
