To be fair it was reported as such on this website. Although I doubted it when it was because there was nothing official. To everyone here compaining about the rain, just because its fan speculated to come out or you see it in a FIA GT sport event, doesnt mean it's coming out for it. At least not yet.
yupthe update is tomorrow 27th right ?
If the rain wasn't coming this update, they should've warned us first
There was no indication or proof of this update featuring rain. Just because it featured at the FIA event doesn't mean it's coming in the very next update. For all we know, it could still be in a Developmental Stage, and showcasing it at FIA was a good way to get feedback from some of the top racers in the world. You can't blame PD for not delivering on something that was never confirmed to be coming in this update. If anything, you can only blame yourself (just generally speaking, not you) for assuming that rain was coming. If the rain wasn't coming this update, they should've warned us first
I was a little more vague than that. Here's the rain paragraph from Monday's article:To be fair it was reported as such on this website.
I originally had the title as less equivocal, but after publication toned it down (although I forgot to edit this thread's title, and for some weird reason social media only ever grabs the first title, category and featured image you give an article) because it was less equivocal.Possibly headlining the content though is a new wet weather condition mechanic. We’ve only seen this in action at the Red Bull Ring so far, so there are questions over how many tracks will get to experience rain — questions that this update will probably answer.
While new cars would be nice, we're not getting race cars which is what I want anyway. New tracks at least gives us more places to take already existing cars. The new track is what I like the most. Couldn't care less about more road cars and the X2019.
New tracks is what I prefer, always.
But the X1 is a race car. While new cars would be nice, we're not getting race cars which is what I want anyway. New tracks at least gives us more places to take already existing cars.
That's I will barely use. I prefer the SF19 now that we have it. It's real and looks like a proper open-wheel racer. The X-cars just don't do it for me.But the X1 is a race car.
Nothing was official, everyone was just speculating and assuming. If the rain wasn't coming this update, they should've warned us first
I have the feeling that only RB Ring will have rain.
I'm excited for the impending sheer amount of disappointment in this thread when it turns out rain was being tested (like the penalty zones) and isn't coming this update, but in a couple months time instead. Who knows, here's to hoping I'm wrong I guess
