Half a million just for one race, that's the highest we've seen, right?
Yes, the highest but not the best to earn credits, Nostalgic La Sarthe or Monza GR1 are the best at the moment i think.

That you do not like them, does not mean they have lost personality, I love it when people make arbitrary judgments like that.
I do not like it = It has no soul, personality or quality.

Is that serious? I think there's a lack of text interpretation or or suffers from deficient in deductive logic.

Because my opinion is contrary to yours, I am arbitrary? LOL.

What is the logic of this? And you define the universal truth?

Do not measure me by your mirror. You accuse me of what you are.

I gave my opinion. And it's not because your want does not line up with mine, so I'm arbitrary.

What a logic! Let me tell you a real-world secret: people have different opinions. And that is not why they are arbitrary.

quite

certainly the highest, but can make money faster elsewhere... that would take an hour... while nostalgic > sarthe can yield 600K in 14mins

Fastest way to earn 2.4 million in 66 minutes...
and you don't need a 20 million dollar car....

I'm more disappointed with the choice of cars for this update than the lack of rainy weather. IMO there are a lot of better options for road cars they could bring back from GT6.

But it is what it is, I guess. Back to saving credits for the 250 GT, still 10 million left :boggled:

Let's hope at least the new Sardegna layouts are fun to drive around.

We should wait and see in the patch notes tomorrow as it says various other features..

nice one aware of that, but dont use it because it drives terrible... for me much more fun to be had in a 330 at sarthe or mclaren f1 at bmb

"When we looked at the first original tracks of the GT franchise, we saw personality and identity in each one. It's not like this anymore."

To be fair it was reported as such on this website. Although I doubted it when it was because there was nothing official.
Exactly. It's not news if it's not official. Gtplanet isnt an official news source for gtsport. It's a fan site for discussion and opinions.

I honestly cannot see rain coming in this update, the comments about other features, updates and fixes appears on previous updates so is pretty generic.

As a rough count I got 28 race cars, maybe 20-22 if you want to take out things like the Audi VGT Gr.1 and Ferrari 250 GTO. A little far from the 3-5 @LR-MR-Cole came up with.

His 85% of cars not belonging in a racing game is super subjective, or just flat out wrong as any car has the right to be raced!
I just through numbers out off the top of my head based on how I feel about these bull^$(% update cars. Also I get the sense from not just this forum but many others that I am no the only one upset about there choice of cars. Yes, every road car has a right to be raced.......

I originally had the title as less equivocal, but after publication toned it down (although I forgot to edit this thread's title, and for some weird reason social media only ever grabs the first title, category and featured image you give an article) because it was less equivocal.

The Article Content
Possibly headlining the content though is a new wet weather condition mechanic. We’ve only seen this in action at the Red Bull Ring so far, so there are questions over how many tracks will get to experience rain — questions that this update will probably answer.
And, right now, we still don't know either way...

How is it a PR disaster if they never said rain was coming in this update?

PR is public relations not public announcements

Pretty much all the gaming media I read assumed rain was coming tomorrow, there was not really any doubt other than on how many tracks, want proof read this thread

To ignore this speculation by your customers is wilfully misleading them, and a PR disaster

Bring out Jim Bowen, come and have a look what you could've won... (Bit UK centric but never mind)

Kaz must have lost his Twitter password

It will be worth waiting if PD has decided to fine-tune the rain physics before it’s release. Many things could still be improved (they mentioned grip was the same for light & heavy rain, we saw the basic dry line used, no puddles etc.). Hopefully it means we will be getting a better rain experience in the end!

my thoughts are that wet conditions are so expected, that even if only Red Bull Ring had it for now, it would've been advertised with a proper video,ad or even a picture. I don't see rain coming with this update at this point, maybe PD decided to use the world competition as proving grounds for the new mode, the fact that they made people use group B cars (with some adjustments to the power ratio) says it all about the current status of said mode: anywhere from 60% to just polishing the details.

It would seem rain is going to get it’s own release, I would imagine if/when rain released, PD will release a preview video highlighting rain possibly on multiple tracks.

"When we looked at the first original tracks of the GT franchise, we saw personality and identity in each one. It's not like this anymore."
To be fair, Brunus does say "I have this feeling," which I think clarifies that they're just stating their point of view. Then again, their usage of "we" instead of "I" is a bit confusing.
fischermann road track now pd !!!
Sainte-Croix dirt track, anyone?

Ooooh, or maybe a Sainte-Croix snow track, wouldn't that be something?
