To be honest with you, I was not expecting anything less than a win here concidering I had the advantage of being in group 2. What I did not expect was to see SRT in 2'nd! I'm really impressed!

Also, 2 things I'd like to bring up:

1: When being lapped: DO NOT LIFT OFF OUT OF THE CORNER!
This goes for all of you. I almost rear ended 4 cars in this race alone because you lifted off at the wrong time. Not only is it dangerous, you loose so much time yourself, as it is the most important part of the corner (the exit)
Instead, keep on the throttle, and lift off early INTO a corner, or go to the outside. that way you can get a good exit out of the next corner and get a good slipstream from the lappping car instead, and you hardly loose any time at all.
Lifting off to let a lapping car pass is good, its respectfull, but please do it the right way, otherwise you are just making it more difficult to pass.

2: Walker: On lap 10 from the hairpin and into spoon, you changed your line more than once. I went for the inside, you blocked, I went for the outside, you blocked, I went for the inside again, and you almost pushed me off the track. This is not ok. You are allowed to change your line ONCE!
This is not a formal incident report, just a heads up that I do not like that kind of driving.

Well done mate a 41 second gap I'm impressed

From my experience:

1- When a faster car comes to lap you, hold your line! The faster car will have the next opportunity to overlap a slower driver;

2- When defending a position, you can move from your racing line to another side once and then return to your previous racing line side. Doing Zig-Zag is forbidden!

Would have been more if I had not spun.

my driving mistake has set me back, but it is very difficult to overtake a Francis with LAG.
I propose that he trained with us until his network is stable enough,
Sorry Francis, you're a fast young man, but it is very uncomfortable not knowing where you are on track.

Ok I do live in a place where you don't get good wifi but in the coming mounths I'm moving

Any chance of a cable connection for you?
Yes Francis, it is a shame for sure.
Francis used to lag badly when there were only 3 in the room, and he managed to get a cable to his router extension, but the extension is a wifi extension and its not a fast connection either.
Not a fast enough connection when there is a room full i am afraid.

I agree and think Francis should stick with us training, but not race on Monday nights until he has a new fast connection.

Well done last night the top 4, as mentioned specially Srt who out performed expectations i would say.

Other than that sadly i prayed for rain, i am never fast but my car had a good setup in the rain that would have helped me stay on the track hopefully more than others, but no rain.

But even more surprising, as i had decided to 2 stop and stay on RM, knowing i could run 30 minute stints at 2 05 and 2 06 was seeing the times Aug and Erazer were doing.
I thought 2 03 2 04 would be the pace over a stint on RS, but when i saw 2 minutes i really was shocked.

How did the times go over a stint on the RS Erazer, could you run at 2 00 and 2 01 for may laps ?

I agree Logic!! I need to invest in a wheel!! Controllers are not the way you win races!! My setup was good, had good drive off the corners and very little in terms of understeer!! Compared to Erazer and Aug it was like I was about 100hp down or something even on the soft tires my best time was 2.04 with the tires lasting around 20mins if I didn't go crazy with them
loud pedal!!

Yes, the Elite guys are just on a different level.

guys, please accept my sincere apology, as you know Stephen my wheel alignment has been playing up and my wheel has been off center a lot during races, which affects me slightly but not enough to be unable to race, during the SC lap last night, after going round tight turn my wheel was way off to the left almost to the point where the paddle shifts where sitting at the top and bottom rather than left and right side, it was completely unplayable and rather than mess up someones race i felt best to get out the way, I was going to pit and stay in pits, but wasn't sure if allowed under race rules, so my wheel is now in bits, tried the encoder fix, but the little wheel isn't cracked or broken, i tightened it up as advised and will see if this works, also waiting on Logitech getting back to me, fingers crossed, i cant remember if its in warranty or not. gutted, was so looking forward to this event and had put a lot of hours in practicing but at least the event was a success, well done all.

Oh dear, sounds a nasty thing, hope you get sorted for next week.
To be honest its far better just to park in the pitbox, as you will then be on the final game results screen.
This is important as it means you will score some points and also wont be penalised by moving up a bracket in the bhp tyre settings.
We have to have this rule in place as sometimes people who had not been doing well in a race, just quit so they would be on a better bhp tyre setting the following week, as they would score no points at all by quitting.

Understood, hopefully doesn't happen again, i have organised events previously and know how much time and effort is involved so I am a little peeed off, i frown upon others who quit so a bit disappointing, not sure how wheel will work out, Logitech do not sell parts, will take it a pc/electronics shop and see if they can repair, but glad you all had a good race, i was going to come back on and watch but i really wanted to get stuck into wheel as it seemed from google there was a common problem where a part was loose and just need screwed tight again, i am hoping this applies to me as the little wheel/encoder seems to be fine and not cracked which is very common and easy to fix with a brass one that doesn't wear. but well done to everyone who raced, hope to be in the mix next time, will keep you posted, next race is looking unlikely but fingers crossed.

Sounds to me like your steering wheel shaft is not properly fastend. (there is a big play between the pinion gear and the steering rack). The sensors for the wheels position is in the steering rack, so if the pinion gerar "jumps" a few cogs, your wheel will be off-center.
For example, if the pinion gear has 16 cogs, and jumps 4 cogs, your wheel will be offset 45 degrees.
Find the correct position (trial and error) and fasten it tight against the rack, and you should be fine.

If that does not help, its a software issue, and I'd say new wheel is your best bet.

Edit, some wheels have the sensor mounted as an extra cog on the steering wheel shaft itself, if that is the case, then that is where you need to make sur there is no play. ,)

How did the times go over a stint on the RS Erazer, could you run at 2 00 and 2 01 for may laps ?
2:00 was pretty much only possible the first 2 laps (3 including outlap) then 2:01 was possible for another 3 laps, and finally 2:02 on the following 3 laps. At that point the tires was at 5 and dropped sigifically and I needed to pit, but still, thats 9 laps on one set and all laptimes where lower than what I managed on RM (low 2:03), and so is a far better strategy. (2 seconds per lap faster, for 44 laps is 1 minute 24 seconds, thats almost 3 stops more you can do and still get the same final time)

The end result also surpriced me a bit , but as i made my last stint i came out off the pit with a little gap up too phaed and as i new his tires was 2 laps older than mine and with about 17 min left off the race i decided too try and get closer too phaed but the same time i tryid too not wear my tires down when i did that and too my big surprice that made me do my fastest laps (fastest came down too 2.02,432) , but i still exspected chris too be at my rear with about 2 laps left , but he must have made some mistakes , because it ended out the way that i could cruice the last 2 laps nice and easy ( lost about 9 sec on those laps up too TRL_E ) all in all it was a fun race for me with the funniest part beeing around lap 17-20 when i had a decent gap down too phaed and little further back was chris and aughablo , but i couldnt get passed logic and suddenly logic had 4 cars up his rear and i probaly wouldnt have gone by logic iff i didnt have chris rearend me so i got some ekstra speed so i had too try a outside pass on logic (sry for that logic , iff i did hit you in the progress) and 2 turns after that walker tryid too defend his position , but luckily for me it made me pass him easily .......
