GT4 track you hate most

My favourite tracks would be Fuji 80s, because it's so quick; Suzuka, because I always seem to have really fun races on it, and it has a cool layout (although I hate the shorter version); Grand Valley normal, because it has great scenery and i used to do the enduro on GT1 over and over; and lastly would be Le Sarthe 2 and Nurburgring, because of their size and their speeds :dopey: (although Nurburgring is only fast at parts).

Marshy:tup:
Actually most of the Nurburgring is full throttle unless you're a wuss and dont want to drive it fast. The only time I didnt drive the Nurburgring fast was on the final exam for the Super License test and I still got bronze with 15 seconds to spare. :)

I used to like the 'Ring but now with the DFP, I hate it. I feel like Im abusing a 130$ toy every time I try to pull quick lap times, the track is narrow as hell, and I hate the parts where the road goes bad. I don't like how long it is, and how unconsistant my times are.

I do like Fuji 2005, El Capitan and Lagua Seca.

...in a Fiat 500 maybe.

So do I. It's a much better challenge than the old Fuji versions. Say what you will about Tilke, but I've loved driving on all of his tracks (Fuji, Sakhir, Istanbul, and Shanghai; in video games, of course). They require some "out of the box" thinking to drive them quickly. The most obvious line is not always the best. The twisty bits on the new Fuji are a perfect example. Once you figure out how to nail this section, it's a great joy to drive.

I hate:
Tokio
Opera

The both look very nice but I dont like that two city course.:indiff: They just have too hard trurns after thes straight.:ill: I can drive them, but its not a pleasure.

Fuji 2005. Herman Tilke strikes again and turns a half decent track into a sterile parking-lot.

I don't dislike driving this track, but I dislike the way it looks when you're driving on it. Replays have a kind of a clinical coolness  to them, but when you're driving it, it feels like you're one of the last people in a post nuclear era. :nervous:

I can't tell between the track and the place where grass is supposed to be, because everything is covered in asphalt.

Sounds like either Fuji 2005 or Fuji 2005 GT!! Both get my vote for most hated track(s). No beauty, imagination or feeling to them. I thought I saw a confused Chewbacca trying to land the Millenium Falcon on the front straight once. The 80's and 90's versions of Fuji are great, what happened?

I think tracks are better/worse depending on the car you are driving.

But The Nascar version of Sears point for me is the low point in the track rosta.

Fuji 2005 does have that "Low security prison" feel to it. Lacking time splits all to easy to feel a bit lost. Could have been fixed with some cones/ Laguna Seca style brake markers. That said I prefer a lap at Fuji 2005 over the painful Sears Point mini track.

I'd have thought you'd hate Suzuka West and Citta di Aria, seeing as you aren't allowed to drive them...

:D

But I can watch cars there!
Of the tracks I am allowed to race on Sears Point Mini is the worst. But of the ones I am "banned from driving" at then Suzuka West is a bit half hearted.
Assisi is magnificent, though I hate the fact I can't drive there.

How is Pestilence doing by the way?

I really like Infineon SCC, the blind turns make it a challenge, similar to driving along moorland (where real road-driving skill is learnt).

I hate Fuji 2005 and Tsukuba. IT is so tight and makes most cars understeer at will.

Miffed that Grindelwald was never re-used that was the best GT track of all time.

Come to think of it, I can't recall a single race I've ever done on Suzuka West. Is it actually in a race or two? I can rember LOTS of different races I've done on EVERY other track and it's varient in the game, but I swear I've never set rubber onto Suzuka West in my entire GT4 career. East, sure, but West...

There is no required GT Mode race of any variety on Suzuka West.

Citta di Aria, that's the narrow one right? where you can only pass at certain points because your driving down narrow back alleys of some Euro coastal town right? I absolutely DESPISE that track.

Citta di Aria "City of the Air" is the old high walled city of Assisi (As in "Saint Francis ofAssisi ) it is located in central Italy east of Perugia. Various old buildings are true to life, the Huge Basilica, the Flying buttresses of the St Claire Chapel. the Roman collums of the Tempio di Minerva, which is in real life is nearing 2,000 years old.

Costa di Amalfi is a fictional but enjoyable version of the Tyrrhenian island of Capri located between the gulfo di Naploli and gulfo di Salerno.

Have to say I like both of them. Good views great Pasta!

If you want a laugh go to arcade mode and pick a pretty fast car and set the AI to +7 or so at Suzuka West. (I think the OLR race I rememebr was with the Lotus Esprit V8)

Set the race for 4 laps or so. You should drive off into the distance, but the very first corner should illustrate just why....

69k picture....

Can you imagine how grumpy people would be if they had to contend with that level of wildness every first corner. (I don't count the 130R on the opening lap at Suzuka West by the way). Drivers get all angsty with 5 second penalties.

Infineon by far. Hong Kong is pretty bad, same with a couple of the Suzuka tracks without much practice, but JEEZ, I HATE INFINEON!!!!!!!

The more I race at Laguna Seca, the more I hate it.

It's a challenging track, and don't get me wrong, I don't hate it because it's hard. It's just that when you start getting the hang of it and learning how to get around it quickly with a certain car or bike, it never becomes any more fun than when you drive it for the very first time. And that's not very fun.

Hong Kong. The one course I ALWAYS B-Spec. So many design flaws, not fun at all. This course is only good if your car has less that 100 Horsepower,

Infineon by far. JEEZ, I HATE INFINEON!!!!!!!
Why? It's got such a perfect flow of fast and slow bits. It's just so smooth and rhythmic, it's like good sex. How can you hate that?

 I dont know if I'd go as far as comparing it to good sex, but I like Infineon also. It's a good track. What i'm begining to hate the more I race it is Midfield Reverse!

I don't recall good sex having quite so many adverse cambers and traction losses... Actually you might have a good point  :sly:

I don't really have a hated track, I have to race them all so hating them doesn't really help :P but if I had to have a 'least favourite' it would be Grand Canyon. It's too long, there's too many walls and hairpins, and I don't like rallying anyway.
