GT4 vs Forza [Let the battle begin]

DevilGTxOne important thing to me when deciding which version (PS2 or XBox) of a game to buy, is how the controller works with that type of game.
Racing games : good controller for both
FPS : 4 shoulder buttons is definitely an advantage over 2 triggers.
Fighting : hard to say...
--I hate playing MKeception on the Controller S.
--I hate having to take my thumb off the look stick to jump in Halo2.
--I can't imagine playing SSX on the XBox...can anyone tell me how the controls are laid out?
Overall, I prefer the feel of the DualShock2.
Recently, some 3rd party accessory makers have come out with DS2 style controllers for the 'Box...I'm thinkin' that's the way to go...
I don't understand how 4 button's would be a bigger advantage over 2 Triggers for a Shooter....But yeah.
And saying the PS2 has so many more high profile titles? Like what? GT4 is the only thing that comes to mind that would be worth playing.
Xbox has Republic commando (Excellend single player) Mech Assault 2 ( excellent single and multiplayer) Will have F.E.A.R. and the new Cops and Robbers style game which looks to be even better than San Andrea's (which I know doesn't say much)
What does Ps2 have?
God Of War; Devil May Cry #? 20? GT4; KillZone and San Andrea's
God Of War Looks promising, I've played the new DMC and it's better than the 2nd but way worse than the first. GT4 Not bad. KillZone is HORRIBLE and San Andrea's is a Tomagochi with guns for your PS2

This is a reply for everyone.
Magazine articles and game ratings in websites or mags. Since when do these things tell you what you like and whats good, with so many different review and point i decide by myself, even renting if i have to.
Forza and GT4, lets just call them cousins and everyone would be happy, both have pros and cons, i believe none is better than the other, but GT4 will still hold the title of racing games,
Some of you are way too fan boyish, I own only the PS2 and dont really understand the hate between these 2 games. if they will never be in the same console there is no need to argue of which one is a better game.

I didnt mean as in the better game i meant still holding the crown for racing games, and those phrases before would make it look like a tie, if i wanted to state that anyways i would, if you want me to say "Forza's the best game ever" then im in the wrong position right know because i think they both are.

Some people were arguing before, with me, about GT4 having colour reflections, well it has, ive seen on many occasions, there obvious to spot...

GT4 does indeed have colour reflections and tyre temp 100%, no doubt, if u say it doesnt after uve played it ur wrong or stupid (or both)

Well of course GT4 has colour reflections, Hell GT2 had colour reflections of course 4 will. The issue was GT4's reflections look rediculously fake.

I wish people would read my post's and actually understand what im trying to say....seems that everyone still thinks that these games are one and the same, when in fact there completly different. No need to compare a Halo 2 to a Age of Empires game, why you ask? Because there offering two completely differnet experiences. That's what these two games are doing.
GT4: ULTIMATE DRIVING SIM.
FORZA: ULTIMATE RACING SIM.
In order to be considered a RACING sim you have to be able to actully RACE other HUMAN beings. GT4 Does not offer that. There lame attempt at LAN doesn't help matters. GT4 was made so you can go drive in 700+ cars on 50 plus tracks. Forza was made so you can go race 230 cars on 40+ tracks ONLINE with other people!
I hope I've made this clear enough so people understand it. I don't expect people to agree with me, after all it is only my opinion.

Thats your opinion, im not going to debate that with you. I have played every racing game on both consoles. So why don't you tell me of some other "Sims".
Whats the difference between "those are ultimate racing sims", and "Hell, Those are ultimate sims"? Your refering to the same games in both statements so how could they be different?

GT4 may be best for PS2, and Forza for XBox, but they are not the best sims at all in a Simulation Category.
If you want to play some real simulators, play Grand Prix Legends.
That's 3 I've mentioned now. All 3 incredibly more realistic than Forza and GT4.
