1st Up: đź‘Ť CFM on your promotion to WRS 'head huncho'... :-) I'm sure I'm echoing all the other kinds words in that I'm sure you'll do a K.A.J. (Kick A** Job) on hadling this event!

2nd Up: This is quite a nice car/track layout! :dopey:

3rd Up: My T-Times SUCK compared to everyone else and it looks like I'm going to have to spend a lot more time racing this track if I want to submit accetable times.
(I *think* my best T-1 time was like a 19.75 but can't recall off the top of my head as the lap time has already been saved/PS2 turned off...For now!)

Will have to wait to see how I progress over this upcoming week/weekend before finalizing on a lap time for submission...I'm sure I can improve on my current times but not by much I know.

Later:

Had a first stab:

19.689
37.965
58.585

Losing time in the first two corners, and on the entry to the chicane. The kerbs around this place aren't friendly at all.

One tip: the last corner is flat out, all the way. I imagine this might be tougher on a DS2 ... just don't apex too early.

First few laps ....
19.8
38.9
59.7

Div 2 DS2 for the benefit of Luxy's leaderboard ;)

Congrats on the new job CFM!

Not enjoying the combo at all this week so submitting my feeble time :grumpy:

T1 19.674
T2 37.903
T3 58.678

(I just can't stand the high powered race ****.) Anyway, good luck all. Till next week ...

Struggling with the new Driving Force wheel. Never driven with the wheel until a few weeks ago. Got lot's of work to do.

T1: 19.8
T2: 39.0
T3: 59.6

ESWC u say...cool, I'm going to join them also here in Italy, my qualification race will be ran the 15th of may đź‘Ť
I don't know this thing of N2 tyres though... where did u hear about?

Rico

I've been to LAN nights with the organisers of the qualification here in NZ and they are really into N2 tires (for realism reasons) and sounds like they are gonna use them in the qualifier. I'm not sure what tires will be used at the actual ESWC though. Best of luck with your race on the 15th may :)

It might be an idea not to mention T3s this week. You don't do much after that so a T3 is basically gonna put us in the same order as a finish line time.

Luxy,

For your leaderboard I'm Div 2 (booo, should have spent more time on the qualifier) and using a DualShock2.

Nice job with the leaderboard, week 2 up already. Are you on the ball or what...

WELCOME to the "Reins" CFM! đź‘Ť
Thought I'd get some Division III Times up even though I only ran 3 Laps. Sure there's LOTS more out there! ...O.G. :D

T-1 = 19.854
T-2 = 38.442
T-3 = 59.034

Short session for me today, lots of studying to do :yuck:

Came up with
T1: 0'19.603
T2: 0'37.962 (made a mockery of the entry to the hairpin like usual. 'Tis what i do best :) )
T3: 0'58.216

Definitely looks like there's not gonna be any significant time difference between drivers and divisions with this combo.

Luxy,

Should have mentioned that I've moved from the DS2 to a DFP.

That's a good excuse for my poor times :sly: although I found driving the Supra with the DFP much easier than some of the other cars I tried e.g my favourite TVR Cerbera Speed Six.

Cheers,

Paul

fun combo i guess?

haha i dont like the braking on this car, wayyy too good

anywayz just got to know the track a little bit

T1 : 0:19.433
T2 : 0:37.809
T3 : 0:58.137

DFP

Perhaps 5-7 laps done so far in a quick try..

T1 19.994
T2 38.914
T3 59.793

This was my third lap.. :dunce: Guess I have ALOT of work to do.. Plenty busy though.. :grumpy: Will try to improve!

Cheers!

EDIT: Forgot, Div 3, DS2..

First 8 laps with a best clean at 1'01.120, trying to set the top speed.
350 km/h seems right now a good compromise.

Next step is to find the braking points on each turn.

Ugh, I don't know what it is but either I just don't like the track or the car and track dont fit each other well. Best so far in the range of 58.5

Here's my Ts so far,

19.765
38.126
59.323

I haven't touched the top speed setting yet. What does it do? Give more downforce if you put the speed down?

I think it acts like the auto setting for your trans in sim mode, as far as I can tell. Didn't mess with it yet for this race.

This is more like it! a few laps down and this combo is nice and easy, very fluent to drive đź‘Ť
so far I'm at 19.5/37.8 with plenty of sections to pick away at for sure :) I like the nice simple tracks .... :dopey: :D

I'll be back ;)

Ive been trying to get on this one all day and here's my chance now that everyone is in bed :)

Mind you, I did manage 2 laps whilst chatting to Small Fryz today but ended up using the wrong car anyway. :dopey: :dopey:

i had another run this morning but i couldnt even get near my earlier time, i absolutely fluked it, here it is again

19.494
37.518
57.646

Here endeth the first session :)

T1 19.594
T2 37.618
T3 57.891

EDIT: DS2, Div 1

After 15 laps, not that good: Trying to improve the Third Sector (T2 -- T3)

T1 = 19.5
T2 = 39.2
T3 = 1:00.1

Sat down and ran a few laps hitting T3s around 1'02.8. I couldn't figure out why I was so far of pace...then it hit me that I didn't "tune" the car yet. Ran through quick tune and within 3 laps I saw a T3 of 58.8 go by...

Eitherway I'm gonna pass on this one. I'm not a fan of Supras, JGTC cars or Fuji for that matter. I just can't get into this one. Not to mention I am still recovering from last week.

I'll be running some Rufs & Audis around the Nordschleife if anyone needs me this week.

See you all next week.
