The Alfa seems to want to understeer mid bend quite badly....should be an interesting week.

Finding a few laps at a time the way to go....hit the wall coming out of turn 2 so many times, can see this is going to be an infuriating challenge!

The Alfa does slide well though which is quite fun

Starting to like this week, bit of a trend going on.....i seem to like tight courses where little corner cutting is available.

It negates my motorcycle riding,'Grass and mud are BAD, M'Kay!' inbuilt inability to cut corners with wheels in the mud! LOL

Maybe in the next GT PD could rename "La Feste Italiano" the "Alfa Cup". Was it just me or did all the cars seem to go off at least twice on the Autumn Ring Mini? Looks like a subliminal statement about Alfas' handling capabilities lol.

this is going to be a pain in the arse.

5 laps so far and can see that the tranny setting needs to be adjusted to fit the car to the track. Thing only runs from 9 to 12 grand for the power band.

After 1 hour playing, i think i´ve come pretty near the limit. altough im quite near to break my second barrier wich i dunno if its possible, there´s at least 0.1 ish left somewhere else in the track.

although i dont feel in the mood to play...

****en rear ended a taxi today, no damage tho~
but the drivers on the road now days piss the **** outta me, drive like ****en homos

this is what happend, a van ( the first car ) a taxi ( 2nd ) then me (3rd ) were driving along a road that merges with another road,
but the road we were on has the right of way and has no need to stop at all
the mofo VAN driver was on his cell phone, and slams on his brakes for no reason at all the taxi almost hits him, i almost hit the taxi

and the van starts to move again we all acellerate and then he stops again!!!!
this time i totally didnt expect it at all, who woulda thought the idiot would stop 2wice on a roadway that has the right of way

so i fender bender'd the taxi, and the VAN speeds off

im left with 100% responsibility, but thank god the taxi driver understood the situation
although both cars had no visible damage, except for my cars plastic scrape marks....

this is my 2nd rear ender, where the driver in front should be at 100% fault
but no...... rear ender is always wrong

**** that ****, im pissed off

That's after 3 laps, still plenty of time to gain!!!

Hmm, I might comeback for this race... I'll give it a whirl. I know I won't be able to spend enough time on it to be competitive, but I need to get something up there, I've already taken two weeks off!!! I turned 21 last week, have been working full time, hanging out with friends, and today I started another job! So I'll be working two jobs and still trying to have time to hang out here and there. Oh yeah, and in between doing things, I was playing Warcraft3 online, and a little bit of GT Mode here and there.

I took the driving aids off, and saw a ton of improvement in 2 laps. I'm starting to see how much driving aids slow you down. New splits:

T1: 23.645
T2: 50.213 (still not a great sector)

Edit: I'm using 240 gears, which is redlining for a split second right before I brake going into the hairpin. 230 gears are too small, but 250 gears may be right (have to go test some more)

I have used 240, but I bounce off the limiter a little bit before the braking zone for the hairpin. I am trying 250, but I haven't had a clean run to see how they compare.

i'm using 260
seems to give a good balance, and is ultimately faster!

However, I then got "clock lock" and didn't improve my overall time.

You gotta get on it buddy!!! Just tried the combo with the DS2 for 5 mins while I was transfering my replay for last week:

T1 - 24.332
T2 - 50.933

Liking this week already 👍 . Gotta see what I can do with the wheel. Oh, and ran RSS front, RS rear to try and get rid of some of the understeer, 270 on the gears seemed to work well for me.

I did that 1'43.4 in 30 or 40 minutes. So, i stoped playing after that. This was on wednesday, wich i had my first session.

So yesterday i tried some 1 hour more but no improvements, also it was too late down here(4 am) and i was sleepy, so i just submited.

Hey guys I FINALLY hit one almost good lap today, although I finally had to take 2, not one but 2 different CLOSE CALL pics.....once I get them on my maxdrive thing I'll post them for y'all to see. I am pretty slow in T1 but T2 is looking fine, I am shooting for another .5 by the end of the week, but again time is the issue here. Here's my splits after an hour and a half:


Top Speed: 270
T1 - :23.995 (need to hit :23.7xx or less)
T2 - :49.763 (need to hit :49.3xx or less)

Had a quick go ... had a lot of trouble driving a car sprung like a rock over kerbs the size of boulders ... what were they expecting? Monster trucks?
