I'm just giving you a hard time Dave. I think everyone knows that it's their fault if they rear end another car, but you have to feel for them when it was caused by a stupid driver in front, not paying attention.

I'd like to thank certain GTP'ers for the warm welcome back to the WRS, its not like I was a die hard WRS'er before but I remember what it was like back in the Boom days and its good to be back.

Couple of questions,
I ran the Italian festival race this morning to get the car. When I load up arcade mode I dont get the option to load garages, does the car I have won simply appear underneath the emblem of the manufacturer I choose, so if I didnt have the car in my SIM garage it wouldn't be available to use?

Second is, what top speed setting are you guys/gals from Div 1, and top of Div 2 using ?

This is exactly what some idiots do in my local area, they follow really close for ages, so you get annoyed, then they overtake you in a ridiculous place and slam the anchors on, a whiplash claim then makes them a few thousand pounds richer !!

That was good as it was my first clean lap without clipping a wall...how refreshing!

Can see some more points where i can gain but getting a full clean lap is a rare thing for me it seems, thats with 270 gearing by the way.

blooming nora veilsidebr!!!! when ever i come on and look at splits i feel ok. i'm usually round about the same time and feel able to compete. then i look at your splits and 🤬 !!! your always at least two seconds faster. by the end of the week its usually more like 4!!

off topic, i went to a brazilian restuarant last night and had acai for dessert. what was it i was eating? just wondered cos it was the most gorgeous thing i've EVER tasted!!

its an energetic fruit, that many people take to get pumped up... gym freaks and stuff... here i think the juice is a bit more popular, you should try that...

It automatically appears as available under the country > manufacturer (although you've probably figured this out by now).

No clean laps so far, but ive only run for 15mins...i seem to be getting low 51's so far at T2, still cant get the braking for the hairpin in the middle sector correct . Yet again amazing splits by veilsidebr (always have to check th spelling of that, lol). Watch out Dave George, im chasin ya down!!

OMG...yesterday i punched my tv so many times. I tried for a 2 hour session, with plenty of 48.7´s and .6´s. Once or twice i had a 48.5, but lost it. And i also got to break my second barrier for some times, but no clean time!!!! GRRRRRR

Today i have to do it!!!

I have been stuck around 23.8 tonight, and can't seem to find a groove. However, I did just have the best second and third sector yet. (actually it's probably the best second sector split out of anyone)

I have improved overall by almost .3, so I'm happy as of right now. I just know there's another .5 out there. And I have .7xx that I need to pick up to break the second barrier that is my ultimate goal.

I had somewhat of an infuriating night and couldn't get many clean runs, but I did figure out some of my week corners and finally nailed something faster than last night:

T1: 24.272
T2: 50.662

I've been .2 faster at T1 and I really don't know how to hit the hairpin before T2, so once I can nail that, I'm pretty sure I can get a sub 50 seconds.

And then that only leaves the next 2 corners, which - for some reason - screw me up everytime. 🤬

I love this car. Well, aside from the massive understeer if I mash the throttle, but I'm learning not to do that so much. That said, I HATE Hong Kong. This circuit and its curbing can suck my . . . anyway. Just put in my first session of the week and I'm happy I was just racing here in the F1 some days ago that it remained fresh in my head, otherwise I'd be in for a hell of a week.

T1: 23.7 (I'm braking way too much for the sweepers. Walls scare me.)
T2: 49.4 (Redeeming, I suppose..)

If I can shave .4 off that first sector (I've seen it, but only a few times) and carry it through, I'll be pretty satisfied. Gearing is at 280 for those curious.
