Jiminy Christmas. I should've been in bed an hour and a half ago, well, at least an hour ago. I was expecting to do better a long time ago. I have my settings and gearing where I'm going to leave them though. About 45 minutes into this 2.5 hour session, I beat my previous time by .2 while my splits were something like .5 slower. Quite dissappointing actually. So, for the rest of the night, I toyed with settings a bit here and there, and just drove, and drove, and drove, and drove, and drove, and drove... Beat my previous best a little bit, but not by .2, and didn't have fast splits. Anywho, a long time later of annoyance, and sneezing(stupid cold), I pulled out a lap that was quite dirty, but not unreasonable otherwise if I stayed on the track, and that was a little over .3 faster than my previous best. Then, not thinking to back out and then come back into a new practice session, I just reloaded my old ghost with the fast splits, and went at it again. Drove, drove, drove and drove. Hit a time that's just over .26 faster than my previous best, with decent enough splits. Then look up at "Best time" and see my dirty time. CRAP. Can't save my ghost. Just have to save the replay... If this ends up being my fastest lap I better be able to submit the full replay. But yeah, I'll keep my old quick T time ghost around to try and beat even that time with a new ghost to chase.
So much for sleep tonight. Crappola, I always starve myself of sleep during the week with this new job of mine.
So, splits for now, .26ish faster than my quicker, old splits:
T1: 12.802
T2: 27.813
T3: 55.802
Blah.
EDIT: Kart, for what it's worth, I think that almost anything under 12.7 for T1 will be the wrong line and won't be fast through the next turn, if you even make it around it that is. So I wouldn't worry too much about that part, but what follows afterwards. Holl's T1 is only a hundreth faster than mine, but he's .4 ahead at T2. But then again, I don't know what FAST T1 times he's been having, or if they've set him up for decent T2s or not.
