After more practice and tuning I managed to shave off a little more.

I want the tire warmers that KLR is using. Jeeze those T1 times are fast? :eek:
At least now my Stealth F1 can get around the track with out hitting something most of the time. :lol:

I drive the kink flat out also. The key is very small steering inputs. Like nearly none. If you oversteer even a little, your sideways.
Well, depending on your settings... I can get a little step out and save it. Definitely couldn't do it like that with stock settings though.

I'm pretty sure those are practice mode splits...

And about my starts, I'm using custom gears, no TCS or any other aids, and some launching skill from using the same gearing the whole time I've been racing. If I can hit the first turn right, I can probably nail down a 16.2xx for T1.

And I wish my F1 wasn't white, I'd be MUCH faster in a black car, or at least something that isn't white, or the color scheme on the first post of this thread. Both of those cars are WAY slow for me. Well, the one on the first post is worse, but still. If it were black, my T1-T3 time would be like one-two seconds faster per lap!

Have only had an hour in the seat so far this week, damn work and responsibilities, haven't hit my stride yet. I don't even know if I have a stride left!

Um ... the left kink people are taking flat out ... is this the left-left kink before the T2 chicane? If it is, I can't seem to hold it at all ... how the frik do you approach this corner flatout???

Toe is important, mine is at 0/0 but what you have to do is is ignore the fact that you've a great run going so far and just power thru the chicane. After you do it enough, you won't crash anymore. You can get thru that turn flat out. Just keep trying. Think nerves of steel.

You simply don't approach it flat-out, impossible. They are talking about the chicane right/left right before T2 :)
 
Alright this is starting to be very GAY. I have spent the last 3 hours trying to get a good race time in....NOPE! I get to 1.5 laps and $H!T hits the fan, I screw up every time between the double lefts before the chicane, or the chicane, or the turn right after it!!! ****!!! I feel better, thx for listening...oh and I MISS HOTLAPPING ALREADY!

You simply don't approach it flat-out, impossible. They are talking about the chicane right/left right before T2 :)
This is the right combo but I don't lift after the short left sweeper heading into it. If your talking about the left after T2 that can't be taken flat out unless your God.
 
As for WHICH corner they're talking about ... okkaaaayyy .... that's a relief! But chasing this impossible feat has actually made me faster ... I'm hitting the left-left faster, plowing through the chicane flat-out (whoohhooo) and currently trying to master that left hander just before the hairpin before the starting straight.

After flying through the T2, right, right, left, right .... brake and left ... ? People are tapping the brakes here, right? (Except for you Veil, who is probably plowing through in 7th, you freak :P)


I've had splits almost as fast as KLR's ... I'm so happy ... just haven't been able to hold them :( I'm so close to running a sub 40 T2 ... I can taste it.

Yeah to the first part, and to the second part, I guess I should stop messing around with the other things in GT mode(buying cars and having my btch, the F1, win endurance races fast), and get to staying ahead of Koly!
 
Don't worry KLR ... on this track I have a habit of running a great T2 and losing it all on the final sector ... I have no idea *HOW* I lose it, but I do :(

hehe yeah, on this corner, wich is the one left hander, just before the last 2 right handers of the track, u go 7th gear at about 290...300 km/h..depending on your line you can be at 305..307, buts its very risky since u get very close to the wall, the ideal way is to do at 7th gear at about 300. You can use 6th also, to turn the car in a different way, but u will probably lose some speed. 👍
 
You two might have different gearing... I'm getting to the point where I can take it in the bottom of fifth, cruising around 130-140+through there with luck.

I'm on FIRE! Just need to lay down something clean and all together now... Had one SCORCHER of a race, but went a tad wide on the exit of the LAST turn to the straight, we all know how that goes...

See 16.3xx T1s often enough, fastest so far tonight was a .314... Fastest T2 on first lap was just a second ago with 44.9xx! Fastest lap two T2 so far is a much improved 39.555...

Gotta put something together! Determination for tonight again! Even though I missed out on sleep last night. Oye, I think I'm going to miss out on it again, unless I wing something decent together here. I see a full second off of my current fastest race by tonight.
 
I just finished my fastest ever race... A FULL 1.65 seconds faster than my previous best race... But guess what, here's the clincher, it's DIRTY!!! Kolyana, I'm totally feeling this t2-end trouble... It's all on the final lap as well... Went a tad wide on that turn we were just talking about that I take in fifth now... I wasn't going THAT fast, I just was a little too inside to begin with. Damnit!
 
Man I feel ya .... everything is going well, you feel FAST, the splits are confirming it, your heart starts to pump and SPIN OUT!
