If you jump over the grass, all 4 tires are over the grass but you never hit the grass, is that ok?

NO

Also If you jump your car 4 wheels in the air, but 2 tires are still over the road, is that ok?

YES

That should be clear I suppose.:sly:

Had a chance tonight to run my first GT4 WRS laps (because I like the track so much)

27.007
1.02.373

edit
DFP

more practice on saturdaymorning....

T1 26.205 :) T2 1;02.*** 👍 Sector 2 is killing me. i dont think i'm going to be happy with my first weeks racing.Div2racer with a lot of time and points to make up. :)

Had a chance to run only about 10 laps today because I had to study. I have this year's most important test on germany tomorrow, wish me luck :D I couldn't improve the time, couldn't even get close to my best run. The second sector is killing me, especially the last long uphill corner just before the split.
Thank god it's almost weekend, will have more laps then :)

i'd really like to see someone's video on this track - seems to be a really momentum based track (at least in my amateur assessment)

Spend the most time of the week to progress my game, needed to unlock Autumn Ring.
Yeah, i know there are lots of saves providing all tracks and cars but i wanted to go on with my personal game.;)
Having aquired the Lancer i went to Autumn Ring (finally unlocked) and have to state that this car and me won´t be a dream team for sure.
I won´t adapt myself to this point and shoot style you need to get around the track in a quick manner, i always feel and think that this enormous understeering can´t be the right deal.
Ok, i stop ranting now and provide those elusive sector times of mine ;)
T1: 0´26.293
T2: 1´01.093

Raced about 40 laps or so this morning, best i could do was
T1: 0'26.607
T2: 1'01.595

This week is gonna be one hell of a struggle for me. Have no idea what the line is through the first sector and i really suck at precise throttle control using the X button. Gonna have to hope that the line through T1 miraculously presents itself to me or i'm not gonna be competitive this week.

I still hate the 1st lefty after T1, no matter what kind of line I have tried the rear end always wants to swing right around.

I have found that if you tap the brakes there just hard enough you will carry 50+ through there with nearly any wheelspin.

Has anyone else seen falling leaves after T2 in the left right kink and right turn after that??? Never noticed that until now Saw some falling leaves and I looked at them instead of the apex for the next right hander and completely wrote of that Evo

Yes, I think it is a nice touch :) Might make for a cool picture...

mite make a cool picture

but i wont be able to put it on my usb flash drive

stupid sandisk mini cruzer 256 mb card doesnt work with gt4 :grumpy:

Not bad at all mate!

DO NOT like this combo, car's to sloppy for the track, it can't make it's mind up whether to over/under-steer(unless of course you are really on the edge, and then it makes it's mind up to try a 720 in in middle of a corner!

And i defy anyone to tell me that this is a realistic representation of how an evo viii would handle! if they put a car on the road that handled this badly around corner's, they would be having to do the same as Audi and re-calling all of the TT's for the addition of a spoiler! Just an example, you understand!

You mite as well try to convince me that the 'smart 4x4' is a viable off-roader!

My T's are 26.960 & 1,03.090

am within .7 of holl in first 'T'
and within 1.2 in the 2nd 'T'
but never in the same lap, bloody typical!
:boggled: :boggled: :boggled:

i understand that alot of ppl dont like the loose end of this car
or the major understeer

but itz easy to compensate ( sp? )

for understeer problems, plant ur nose of the car down to turn...

for oversteer problems, if you know that your gonna lose the back end turn into it
and u will end up saving it from going out

so say the rear end wants to swing out for the left turn after the hairpin,
while you turn ur car in, ocassionally turn towards the right as well keeping your back end tidy

alot of you probly know this, but juss tryin to help out :)

Well, I'm finally getting the hang of this car...can't quite say I 'love it', but it does tend to grow on you after about 30/40 laps! :D

So far today, my best is a
T1: 26.7XX
&
T2: 102.6XX

I'll definitely be getting some more seat time this weekend!

Cheers!

God, I am soooooooo struggling with this ... I slashed half a second off in one corner alone, only to loose it elsewhere and I can't find how I hit it so well and repeat it again. Better T1 times, but struggling like HELL on T2.

This combo is killing me ...

Congrats on that one corner, but didn't you watch the replay afterwards? You could have evaluated how you did it.

Update for me:

T1 - 26.435
T2 - 1'01.333

I whittled .28 off my previous best lap time :)

Although it's a pretty close one! I'm barely on the track 2 times, on the white border line :nervous:

I think this is about my limit, perhaps I can shave off .1

Ok, the Leaderboard is finally up to date :D (my mother-in-law was staying on our couch, right next to the computer, so I missed updating yesterday morning ... then you guys go and put me 5 pages behind  ;) )If you notice a mistake, just send me a PM and I'll fix it the next time I update ...

I managed to run a bit last night ... can't say I love the combo. I prefer the ones where I'm not fighting the car the whole lap. This week it just feels like I'm trying to loose the least amount of time, rather than really attacking (if that makes any sense). So far, I'm at:

26.4
1'01.2

Update people, time submitted!!!

Previous New

T1 26.180 26.062
T2 1'00.615 1'00.433

Took a whole 0.100 seconds off at the line.

I really nailed the lap.

I feel like hiding my sig after these times... :embarrassed:

T1: 26.911
T2: 1:02.556

...at least I can tell where my mistakes were at. :)

T1 is really starting to bug me. Any advice from the pros for a sub 27 sec T1?
The thing that helped me most was being on the correct side of the track to take the turn. Not easy with this understeering mess. Lift or brake if you have to. Slow in, fast out! Hope that helps a little. 👍

Best splits so far for me

T1 : 26.5
T2 : 1.01.9

Can't do much better than that ... Like hOt6o4bOi said, I just plant that front end into the ground for the corners, and try do have as little spin/understeer as possible, smooth is the way I think ... and the 1st corner one must keep to the inside right around it (not wide in), to be lined up for the next left/right/left/right section

Hi everyone,

Where in the world can one get a Maxdrive ... or similiar type of device to get your replay from the PS2 to your PC ... I think I might have a bit of a problem here in South Africa to get this thing. 👎

Scenario :

Say someone gets the best time in his/hers division but can't prove it (by not having a MAx drive etc.), do they then get 0 points, or are they offered the chance to give their 2nd best time then (and thus not winning the Division, but still earning some sort of points) ?

Sigh ~ Looks like an early Nat 3 ~ Chris 0. (Not sure I am going to improve much, but will try)

Will sayI lost respect for my favo make of car in GT4 ....

T1 : 27.877
T2 : 1'03.562

Well ... as I might need to prove my times I just ordered my Max Drive (PAL) from play-asia.com ... cost me $27 , luckily the South African rand is very strong at the moment so I'm paying R170 or there abouts ... it should be here in like 7-15 days ... so we'll see what happens ... 👍
