With a T4 of 4:37.4xx, I would think you aren't pushing hard at all. Do you mean T9?

Leaderboard Updated! to post 124

PM me if you find any mistakes. I come back and have to sort through 100 posts already!! :scared:.

EDIT!
It seems the gap is only sorted by T3 and not T4, ive pm'ed luxy about it and asked if he can fix it. That is out of my control sorry. :indiff:

OK in for a penny

T2 - 1.07.968
T4 - 2.17.752
T7 - 3.58.429
T9 - 4.53.583

This is going to be an interesting week 👍
Div3ers very close times so far  . ITS ON :mischievous:

This is it for me. I don't think I'll have time through the week to go any more laps on this race and that's a bummer as there are seconds and seconds and seconds left out there. I was just starting to figure out the track through T2 and the rest was coming along too. Ah well... maybe next week I'll have more time. I gotta get some sleep.

T2 1'05.988
T4 2'14.672
T7 3'56.366
T9 4'50.785

Later,

First clean run

T2 1'05.331
T4 2'10.998
T7 3'48.987
T9 4'42.113

Aaarrghh... I thought I was doing quite well until I saw all of these splits... :nervous: :nervous:

I spent about 1 hr on it last night, and my best splits from a clean lap are:

T2 1'08.330 :yuck:
T4 2'16.712
T7 3'56.360
T9 4'52.855

I know there is atleast 1 sec in Sector 1 left for me, but need to find alot more...

Started to go alot quicker when I realised that gearing down for certain long corners is a big mistake...

Ahha! Loving this race even though I'm dead tired, gonna need to bust out my dusty racing gloves for this. :sly:

So far so good, almost every sector can be 1/2 to a full second faster. :D

T2: 1'06.530 (seen 1'06.171)
T4: 2'13.586
T7: 3'53.026
T9: 4'47.754

BTW, how fast is everyone taking Ex-Muhle and Bergwerk? Those 2 sweepers mess things up for me almost every time. :(

1'05.045
2'10.870
3'48.047
4'41.407

Improved lap by .998

exhumle is 3rd gear, braking early.
Bergwerk is also 3rd (for me) braking late and trail braking into the corner. I suppose you could take it in 4th but im not sure.

been doing sooo many runs, but this is my first CLEAN RUN

having alot of fun on this combo, dfp racing is sooo exciting with all the bumps :D

heres my sectors

t2 1'04.227
t4 2'09.098
t7 3'44.414
t9 4'36.910

OK, I'm getting really annoyed now :grumpy: Been seeing regular splits of

T2 - 1'05.9xx
T4 - 2'12.9xx

but i just can't finish the laps clean. I've only managed 2 clean laps in total out of about 10 that I've completed, not to mention countless restarts.

Now running with TCS/ASM off (good call Alpine) still using AT though with lots of manual over-riding.

Man, I need to sharpen up my act... :nervous: I don't use the DFP, even though it's great fun, I find the Nurburgring very challenging using it, and always end up backwards, sideways, or otherwise off the track...I can manage clean laps pretty easily with the DS2, albeit not lightning quick yet... I'm in a bit of a Catch 22 situation... at what point should I quit using the DS2 and start using the DFP full time?

IMHO...I'd run the Lotus Classic (Manufacture Race) and win the Lotus Elan - 62'...then take that out on the ring and use the DFP...after a few laps, you should be comfortable using the DFP well enough to use it for this weeks WRS...

t7 3'44.414
t9 4'36.910

Wow. Every time I see your splits makes me wonder what I'm missing by not having a DF2. Nice run, dude.

We're supposed to be running the Abt TT-R, not the R8!!! J/K :sly:

Only had a few laps at this, and the first one i have that is clean, is a messy one, if you get what i mean.....

Anyway, i seem to be having trouble with the right into the middle straight section, and the twisty bits after the first carousel... but here are the t's:

T2: 1'05.170
T4: 2'10.878
T7: 3'48.184
T9: 4'40.898

Yo chippers!!

Im loving the car. thanx Todd for the combo, and i will be improving by a large amount, once i figure out how to get thru the twisty bit in 4th and 5th.

OH YEAH, for those of you who havent figured it out yet, lower your top speed to 320kph.

VEXD out.

really, really struggling to get a clean lap together, no the 1st half of the lap so good but always seem to **** it in the second half.... i can see this is going to be a frustrating week

1'05.084
2'10.430
3'47.658
4'40.671

improved by 2 seconds!

Still more time in it though.

I am taking exmuhle with just a lift in third if I'm not mistaken (but thats probably because I am not going as fast as everyone else when I get there). I always "forget" about bergwerk though... but it is definately a third. I think with that corner by corner guide I posted earlier (post 90 ish) it is a very late apex.

Oh, and a question: where is T9 so I can look for it next time I drive?

T9 is over by Pflanzgarten IIRC

I'll need to give this one a run! Anything involving the Nürburgring has to be something special.

I've been flying round the 'ring with a lightened and tuned BMW M3 for Small_Fryz's lap time comparison so I know the track well but have never driven this rocket round it. I will post splits later today. 👍

Hey Anders, That guide is awsome!

good taste in cars too. (BMW 2002 Turbo) I used to own a '70 2002, non-turbo.

Thanks for the link.

Hey does anyone know if this weeks car is a 4WD?
Bloody thing can't do a full lap without going bush or tring to drive over the wall

It's RWD as far as I can tell. Get one of your tires in the grass in a second gear corner and you'll see right away.:sly:

Also, I agree with Very Egocentric eXpedient Deviant, as 320km for top speed setting seems to be the sweet spot as far as gearing is concerned.:)

Maybe you havnt been driving your pajero offroad enough, and your desire to go offroading is overunning your desire to get a clean lap? 💡

Either way the problem is not the car but the person behind the wheel  :P :sly:

*goes to his room before dad kicks him there*
