Thanks Kolyana! I just dont want to get complacent with my times. I know I can do better! I am looking forward to the updated leader board!

There is a great race brewing in Div 2

but the reason why Im not too satisfied is that there are alot of people who have not posted sectors. Plus Solarac, Exelero, Standard, and any one in div 3 is quite capable of blowing my times away!

I wish I could press you harder TeamLosi, but I've learned this week that Rallying is something that completely escapes me ... try as I might, I can't seem to figure out how I can run faster! Nothing but a well acknowledged nod of the head from this side of the track :P
 
According to the outdated leaderboard, I am in 4th after 23mins.

T1: 17.674
T2: 44.845
T3: 1:18.488

@Nat. Do what I did. I was running slower than Kent then I went and just went slow and tried to find the perfect line and find out how to manhandle the car through the corners.

I'm kinda doing that, but for me - and I think most people - it's just sooooooooooo easy to lose a whole bunch of time on ANY corner!

I've got splits I'm happy (ish) with and I've just taken .5 off my overall time, so I'm fairly happy. If I could hack another .5 off at the line, I'll probably end up submitting.

Congrats on bringing your times down, too ... well done :)

Hey BttW ... you should've asked that on a non-rally week :P Going pretty good, all things considered, just wish I could push the division leaders a little harder and keep them more on their toes, y'know?

jeeesss kenny that doesnt look good. how will your car drive on dirt and in all that rain??

guess when you read this you could be wearing wellingtons and up to your knees in water?

lol....the mud kicked up and spewed all over the invisible walls, so now with clear boundaries I was able to improve and beat holl by 26 seconds

Well if you improve those first two sectors then you'll definitely have me. That's incredible how you made up that much time in T3!! I couldn't imagine hitting 1:15's after only getting 45 in T2. Keep at it!!

You know what? I think I know where GT4's rumored drift mode went into...rally mode. What genius up at PD decided to combine the two and not tell us? :dopey:

Rally really isn't my friend, but right now I'm pulling low 1'20 T3's...I'll try to cut off some time later today and tommorow night.
 
HOLY POO! I just ran a T3 of 1'16.1xx and over a second off at the line! I'm freaking ecstatic ... now if only I can figure out how I did it, I may be able to push TeamLosi a little more :P

Do you ever get a day when everything goes right? You're on form, the laps come easily and you break your own personal records easier than any other day? I typically get one of those each week, but it's always a different day and I never know when I'm going to be in the 'groove', you know?

Today, even though I've only been playing a short while, I'm smashing my lap speeds I set yesterday with much less effort. I have no illusions of 'doing well' regarding the division, but I'm very pleased with my own personal improvement ... and that's what the WRS is all about, to me.

Yay.

Glad to hear I helped someone. It still matters alot between T3 and the finish. I am confident in that sector though.
 
Nice times Kolyana! I knew all that talk about your worst week ever was not true! Your great time improvement has inspired me to get back on the track and run some more laps!
 
Yeah, I wasn't comfortable with putting in a time that would put me way down the field ... I wanted to feel like I had improved in rallying, which would at least get me something out of this week. I feel somewhat sated in that regard now :P
 
This will probably be the time I submit ... I really want to start on the GT series in the professional hall and I'm wasting too much time on a combo I am not really enjoying. :P

This week sucks for me. First clean lap with a T3 of 1:18.xx. I'm submitting it... Grr...

Haven't yet beaten Mission 34 yet, but I have gone from about 55% to 75% in the game so all's not lost.

It's damned impressive that holl01 is in the 1:13!!!s!!

Any hints as to what I can do to my NTSC McLaren SLR to make it handle like the mission car so I can practice? :^)

Looking forward to next week's race...

I'm using the DFP. I tried the DS2 and chase cam, but on this track I can't get the hang of it and was consistently behind on all of my splits. Went back to the DFP and bumper cam and everything fell into place.

I really doubt that I'll run anymore ... I'm a little bored of GT4 this week and fancy immersing myself in a good zombie flick or something.
 
Notice how those cars aren't sliding nearly as much as our beloved steed for this week...watching Rally Turkey only makes me more furious that PD totally screwed up the rally physics in GT4. It could have been so much more fun and so much more realistic...

Oh well...I guess that's why God...I mean Microsoft...well...I mean...you know what I mean... invented Rallisport Challenge 1 and 2 and the Xbox...
