Very hard combo with all those walls, best I got so far:

T1: 18.206
T2: 45.456
T3: 1'19.217

Having lots of difficulties between T2-T3, especially that hill section :ouch:

Cheers,

This is the one you're not allowed to cut, I believe...

Are we allowed to fully cut this one then?

edit: @SRD...great minds think alike ;)

I never even thought about cutting the second part there, I wonder if it is allowed?

I honestly can't see how CFM can make it any easier for you guys

Here we go:
The enitire course is considered part of the track aside from the following:
The high speed left hand corner right before the right hand turn that transitions back to gravel may not be cut. Keep at least two tires touching the rumble strip here!

And one more time:

Why do you guys insist on trying to find things that are not in CFM's race ruling instead of concentrating on the things that are? (Don't answer that)

lol Sphinx

I snuck into the course and did some laps. By cutting that corner a little more than I was and doing a cpl other corners faster, including mostly the end, I knocked off about 1.4 seconds!

T1 - 17.702
T2 - 44.489
T3 - 1'17.996 (I lost at least .3 here)

I fail to see how cutting those 2 corners can give you a faster time. I'm not planning on trying, but I just don't see it.

Not much time improvement here so far, but I'm learning and getting better. Hopefully I'll do better. :)

The high speed left hander is almost exactly the same as that right hander...i.e. the wheels off-track are on the same surface. The confusion for me is not which is legal, but why it's legal to cut one corner but not the other...

Exactly why I raised the point too. Although I cut it more than I was, I only went about 1/2 over it.

ah ok, I thought it would be something less obvious.
Thanks SRD and Amp88

EDIT: What is the best technique for taking that long long left just after you go onto the tarmac? I'm not really sure about what the best brake/throttle technique is for that section. I reackon I could make up at least a second there.

I'm not sure if I'm going to push for a good time this week. At this moment I've done 40 laps and I think 1 was clean and that was a bad lap...

This is just not my track I think :/

THANK YOU!
That was exactly my point as well!👍

And now that we have been answered, I've got a few ideas that need to be tested! :dopey:

It doesn't matter.

The reason why is that CFM wants it that way for this week. Run by this weeks ruling and you will be fine, instead of making a meal out of everything all the time.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

:ill:

THANX CFM! Two weeks in a row you take us somewhere I haven't been since the first week I bought the "Game!" 20 Laps down & nothing worth posting yet...still locating "Invisable Walls" at this point...(usually by running into them! )

@ "Kenny"...you ARE the "BOMB!" I'm still grinnin' over your story! 👍 ...O.G. :D

VeilSidebr´s back to the pits after the second practice session. :D

Got a total 1 hour run, nothing much, i know i will touch seconds further in some days, but at least now i see 1 second left. :D

T1 - 17.237
T2 - 43.569
T3 - 1"15.039

After about twenty minutes and probably five clean laps I've gotten a T3 of 1'19.175, but I found about two seconds to gain in the third sector at the bottom of the track while finishing a dirty lap, thanks to the long right just after T1. I hate that turn, because you feel slow if you don't floor it all the way through, but it's impossible to stay clean that way!

Didn't carry enough speed through the starting line (previous lap sucked) so I might've lost a couple tenths of a second there. Still a pretty decent lap time, 1sec quicker overall. :dopey:

T1: 17.896
T2: 44.788
T3: 1'17.094

Little more practice in..

T1: 17.021
T2: 43.408
T3: 1'14.703

Does anyone else find themselves having to restart after each lap? Because I find it faster to slide to the left at the finish line because you can carry more speed in. So, of course, I hit the wall right after the line. I just thought this was pretty strange, having the line for a hot-lap to be different than if you were running a multi-lap race.

Yeah, I'll restart to start a new lap just because like you say, you clip the wall after the start/finish when ending a hot lap. Although I try to keep the line the same between starting a lap and at the end of a hot lap.

Ran another couple of laps tonight, getting quicker and finding it easier to stay clean. Well maybe not easier but I'm not hitting walls as much...here's the splits:

T1 - 0:17.646
T2 - 0:44.627
T3 - 1:16.722

And as for cutting across the sand as some people were suggesting before, why would you want to? Unless you fly across it and miss contacting it completely, you are definitely gonna be slowed down by it. My advice would be to avoid it completely.

T1 17.056
T2 43.464
T3 1'14.742

and i finished incredibly good. i took the last corner at full pace and managed to hold on to it, i crossed the line sideways!

i've had T3 of 1'14.164, but i took the next left to cautiously
and ultimately lost too much time
i will have some more goes next week maybe

Leaderboard done, been a bit all over the place this week. let us know if I missed anybody 👍

Some fresh splits here:

T1: 0:17.568
T2: 0:44.723
T3: 1:17.918

Im loving this rally!! There are so many places where a good tenth of a second can be shaved!!

Best so far has been a T3 of 1'16.4 in about a hour and a half, but too bad every lap has been dirty so far lol. Seem to have alot more rhythm tonight so i hope for big things tomorrow, like an actual clean lap! :)
