This list is way out of control. Why are poeple posting so many pointless cars? They shouldn't be put in the game simply because a car exists! Look at some of the stuff on the first list....a 2000 Chevy Impala?! Who the hell cares to drive that pile of crap. And there are too many posts mentioning race cars that are already in the game. We don't need the same Viper in every possibly conceivable team colors. And we don't need cars repeated just 'cause they had a differnt name in the US or Europe. Acura TSX '04?! It's the same damn thing as the Accord Euro that is already in the game.

My bad, forgot the TSX has the 2.4. But you get my point, there are too many cars being repeated under different names yet are still essentially the same car.
 
I'd rather see the Ferrari F2002 than the 2005 that's in the list. The 2002 would be way more fun. Before they banned all the traction control and fun stuff.

I know half of these cars will never appear on the game due to licence stuff but it would be cool if they were on GT5

Why don't you look yourself, search engines have a purpose. Thoes were both in GT2.

And treat others how you'd like them to treat you, it was wrong to have a go at punkrkr for making a mistake that doesn't affect you one bit when you can just politely let him know he made a mistake.

Oh and whoever originally made the list completely had some major mistakes. First of all, Pontiac is mentioned twice in the list. There's like a hundred cars in that list that are already in GT4. And what's with like 100 different Lancer Evo's? The whole list is like a list of every car in the world. 👎

I can't believe my car hasn't been mentioned!

Datsun 1200 Coupe (early '70s)

The B110 is something of a classic, and did its fair share of racing, particularly rallying, and along with the sexy coupe came a four door sedan, a wagon and a ute. Drives like a go kart, and I've had several offers made to sell it on the spot while on the street, so it must hold some widespread appeal.

Because its not my job to do that. My job is to add you reasonable requests to the Main List. I dont have time to go through and authenticate every care before i add them. Its much easier and effecient of the requesting person would just supply a linked picture like the rules say. And also like i said before. The HKS Nissan 180SX Drag Car never existed untill a few years after GT2 was released. Im not trying to shoot ppl down, i just want to make sure the list is authentic as possible. I have researched Mine's many times and couldnt find anything at all but the R34 and a Lancer Evo If someone could please just post a link to a pic of the Mine's cars in question then they will be added to the list. Most of the time when a link is posted under the car(like the requestes should be) i dont even bother to look unless its strange or doesnt seem real.
I treat others how i want to be treated or how they treat me. I didnt find it wrong to go at him. He came at me with an attitude and mad about the list. Im getting sick and tired of this. How would you feel if this happened multiple times a day on something you spent countless hours into. I would have let him know politly if he had been polite to me in his post. I treat ppl in this thread based on how they are towards me. Go back and read the rules. Read the list, then read the rules again. Then come back and eliminate the repeats and ill add your request. Where is pontiac mentioned twice? I dont see it. This list is supposed to be a list of cars that the Gran Turismo Enthusiasts want to see in GT5. Not the cars we want to see in GT5 on top of what was in GT4. You guys haft to think, im sending this list to a Very well known game producer. It needs to look as professional as possible. So telling then what we would like to see in GT5 is better and much more professional than it saying we want to see these cars plus what was in GT4. I have also come up with a solution to the extreme multiples of cars that you guys are nagging about. It will also make the game much better, faster, and easier to play. Its called Dealer Options. But this is not the thread for that stuff.

Way to many repeats man, take out the repeats and ill add your requests.

Also for all the ones saying "Every car made" and things alike in reference in how big the list is. There are prolly over like 4-5 million different cars made. So this list isnt even close to touching that.
Also would you guys stop with the repeats so i dont haft to skip your entire post! If you have a couple then thats fine but ive been seeing alot of excessive repeats as if you never even looked at the list. List updated.

The convertible and coupe are 2 different cars and have differing specs.

Your list looks quite nice but when reading it I fear it'll gather more and more duplicates and clutter. The way they are listed also makes it hard to track back what the supposed source was. Still a great initiative though!
 
There is two cars I want to see in GT5, the first is the 240sx with a ka24de I don't want the stinking sr20. I'm not a fan of the engine and I have always wanted to play around with a ka24 in a video game. The Altima is my first car and its a race car, but I have always wanted to see how it would handle in the GT series.

And i really don't want to hear anything about the sr20 being better then the ka24. Its a matter of opinion of which engine is better. I have dealt with both and IMO the ka24 is a better engine.

- VW Corrado 2
- Opel Manta/Ascona 2 GT/S
- Opel Kadett C
- Mercedes E190 16V (non-Evo)
- Suzuki Swift/Baleno (Cultus 1/2)
- Ford Escort Mk2
- etc. etc.
