Well, then the US site date, if it was true than AUS would get it on the 2nd, EU on the 3rd, but we can hope.

Hope..is about all we have left, and while I admire your optimism I'm getting to the point of not having it anymore..,still definately worth the (seemingly never-ending) wait.

You guys are all making the same desperate grabs at any info regarding a release date like you did before Sony announced the previous 2nd November date.

It's frustrating that you're going down the same path again and seem to have learned nothing. :nervous:

Just wait until it's officially announced!

And stop pretending a November release is in any way likely. I'd pin your hopes on mid December at the very earliest.

Rant over.

I prefer that one too.

And back to LP song, its not that bad of a song but its LP, comon. I hate when bands try to be FIT and up to date. I love bands that do what they love to do, not fitting in with todays POP society!

Also my comment is on the TOPIC. Because we are waiting for GT5 but we have nothing else to talk about since we already talk about all the info of GT5, so only thing to do is to waist time by listening to music.

I agree with your principal but I still like the song.👍

I don't know, its a really good and unique song, and I don't think their whole album is in this direction though. Its kind of like a 1 of experiment. Other songs in the album, like the catalyst, are good ol LP.

It's actually a small miracle how often things are forgotten around here and history repeats itself... and people are thoroughly surprised each time.

...

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that for Sony to go over 2 weeks since the delay announcement with still no new date, that it's likely this wasn't some "small" issue like a firmware requirement. Or that the rumoured "PD was only 3 days late getting their code to Sony" thing is actually true. Reasonably either one of those things should be solved by now.

I still think it is going to be March 08, 2011 (U.S. Release).

It would allow PD/Sony to finish out 1st Quarter with a bang and open up the other quarters to subsequent sales from potential DLC releases (if those are in the pipeline). In addition, this enables them to build off momentum from the LBP 2 release and give them a very strong standing heading into 2nd Quarter.

That'd be a long time to hold out on releasing an already completed project. I think they want to exploit the holiday season to boost sales.

If it didn't release until next quarter. Would you say that it wasn't complete at this present time then.

@Slippy. I got of the hype train at the next stop.

Agreed. If PD was late by 3 days getting the game to printing, that means it's done. It doesn't take 5 months to print discs.........

Well I don't know how reserving printing times for Blu-Ray works but apparently missing your window by mere days can cause months of delay. So it wouldn't necessarily be the case that they weren't finished. However, I don't think that it will release in Q1 2011, and certainly not as far in as March.

Except that they push smaller/lesser projects out of the way in order to make room for bigger/more important releases. GT5 is the biggest project that Sony's ever undertaken with the PS3.

True, but it would seem that if everything is completed and good to go, a release date would be a pretty easy thing to come by. Not telling people when the release date is will hurt their sales during the Christmas season.

Despite popular belief, December is not the biggest shopping month for Christmas, it's November. There's a reason many triple-A titles come out in early/mid-November. Not having a release until December is a bad idea since many people have completed their Christmas shopping before then. If PD does not plan on releasing until mid/late December, they are better off just waiting until next March, during the First Quarter 2011. April is also a very big shopping month since people have paid their taxes and many folks are starting get their returns back (if they haven't already a few months prior).

Well, Nov 2nd would have been the best release date for them because it would come out before other AAA titles of the season like ACB, NFSHP and CODSO, but since they couldn't meet that, I think a early December or a late November date would be the next best thing because then it wouldn't directly launch compete with those games that come out mid-November.

Is anyone else starting to feel like a neglected, latch-key child? It's like your parents promised to take you to the amusement park at the end of the month and then told you that they couldn't because they had to work last minute.

All these broken promises and last minute delays has completely destroyed my trust in Sony and their ability to get anything done. Heck, they promised that they'd give a release date by the end of October, yet today is the last business day of the month and business hours are over in Japan for nearly half the day, yet we've heard absolutely nothing. All I can say is that they better be working Saturday and Sunday as well, and that any upper management involved with this game is only permitted 2hours of sleep a night until this thing ships to stores.

Well, like a grown-up, I'll get over it, and I'll see what I can do for my own entertainment instead of complaining about what I cannot do.

I hear there making a phone.
Imagine that, making a communications device but not knowing how to communicate with there fans.

Really guys were going to buy it if it releases next week or next five years. Its not on their priorities at the moment to let us know anything.
Sad fact is that they really can treat us like the battered housewife and we'll still have them back.

The only customers they need to target are the ones who are on the fence, they will start on them when tv advertising comes out.
