Wow...Jr rochas G37 look's stunning, just look at all the detail behind the grill and bumper.

When Kaz says "Nearly every part of the car can be modified" I hope JR's car is an example of what he is talking about.

Is this the first time because I've never seen GT images being in some kind of dark studio before. I definitely wouldn't mind having that option in the game. If livery were to make it in the game, I'd use the room and take pics of my car and with my livery design in every angle possible.

I hope so too.

Yes, would be an awesome "location". The best thing would be if you could change the color of the background as you wish.

Holy 🤬, that orange TT looks amazing with the studio background.I wonder if this is a part of a photo mode then.Seeing as the Nissan has a race car body, that i guess will have full damage by the looks of it.

The left headlight looks incomplete.

That's strange. I thought he polygongs in that area were messed up, but it's just a color problem. Zoom in, you'll see that the black paintjob is "covered" by the headlight's grey.

I zoomed in but I don't understand what you mean?

Amazing how far Gran Turismo, along with other racing games have came from. Shocking how devoted these guys are as to including every single piece of the car, interior and exterior. I can't wit till Spring.

Seeing this picture makes me more frustrated. Kinda frustrating that we have to wait for so long and forza get all the award this year. I hope they release at least a demo of gt5 or gt5p update.

They sure are in-game models.
Play GT5: Prologue and inspect the cars.
No LOD substitutes like Forza 3.

Ya, but in the showroom they do seem to look better... Maybe in the race you just don't see them as close up. But GT has traditionally had nicer car models in the garage/showroom/photomode/replays than during the actual race.

If you see Forza as this amazing award-winning racing game, go and get it. Why would you deny yourself the pleasure of playing such a good game? You are not going to get a demo of GT5 any time soon, and there is almost no chance of a GT5P update.

Oh man then I need to buy xbox 360 instead of reserving my money for games next year ... sigh Forza 3 has hug all the glory right now from sales to awards and praises. I think I might bite it.

This is what PD had missed, if only they done the development of the game efficiently and not take them this long , my goodness 5 years for a racing game.

Even FPS, or MMRPG or RPG will has more complex AI, and environment will not take this long. I hope when GT6 is out , the development of the game will be more efficient.

No the car models are the same, they seem to look better because the lighting engine is more complex in the showroom/landscapes. Polycount and textures dont change.

It's not that PD aren't being efficient about it, because obviously they are, they're taking care and pride, and making sure every last detail is completed with immense perfection. As said, if you want to get FM3 and a 360.. go for it it's your choice and your money, but trust me on this.. Gran Turismo 5 will be worth the wait.

Looking better is looking better. Lighting counts! Still, its pretty impressive if its a very small difference.

I hope by march ( but I think its fall launch for the west because of God of war 3 is on march also and PD is well known to translate games very slowl to English ) it is not considered obsolete to our standard since Next gen console might be tease next year.

It just looks so clean and shiny. Maybe add some smudge or dirt, or roughness, you know what I mean, realistic textures . And I hope they can also show wheel deformation and dirt

I've heard Kaz say he likes GT cause he can create a more beautiful reality than ... reality. You know, showing the cars in their absolute best light. Its car porn. Pornstars don't have pimples etc. :P

But I would like dirt, permanent dents/scratches (unless you pay to fix them), etc very very much too.
