They're supposed to announce the release date by the end of this month and if they do that then the game will likely be done and possibly already in its gold stage.

I like your thinking-it would make sense, and avoid more egg on face to announce release date when the game has definitely 100% gone gold. 👍

It's Gamestop. They hear it's delayed and just put a later date. GT5 is coming this year.

Thats really not a credible source, they usually do that when the game has no release date.

Although we cannot trust them, they got the original release date (9/2/10) correct back in February. So who knows.

The GameStop release date is just a placeholder. Whenever they don't have a date they just put a placeholder date. If you notice January 1st is a Saturday, and games aren't released on that day.

Don't be surprised if that becomes the date then. I suspect the shops know a lot more about this situation than us. And it's also after black ops and kinect.

I don't believe in any release date until the game is in my possession. But you say that as if it is already a fact, which you cannot know.


By the way, is your Shift key broken? I know English isn't your first language, which is why I only highlighted the many capitalization issues, but I am pretty sure that capitalization at the beginning of sentences and on proper nouns is fairly common. Not to mention that at least trying to do your best proper English is a rule here.

After some calculations, I have some somewhat disappointing/interesting facts.

1. The time elapsed between GT4 and GT5P's JP launch may be less then the time elapsed between GT5P and GT5 itself.

2. Even if GT5 is delayed an extra 6-8 weeks, it still only accounts for less than 2% in development/waiting time.

Who cares when it's released, just find time to busy yourself, save some money or something, that way if there is DLC for GT5 you'll be ready for it. Practice your driving skills, refine your wheel, do something. But don't fret over a release date of GT5. I didn't even pre-order it. I'm pretty sure that Sony made up some b.s. so they can release it around Black Friday so they can get some good sales. I love GT as much as anyone here, and my PS3 is waiting for it. But I'm not gonna get bent outta shape because it's not here on November 2nd. It's not November 2nd now is it? So you'd have to wait regardless. Patience is a virtue, one that you'd be good to practice!

Well today has certainly been eventful. Now i, and we can only hope GT5 is released before Christmas, if it's pushed back to 2011, then this is just a repeat of last year
I still have faith in PD and Sony, i think there must've been a good reason for this delay, so i'm not that angry. I'm sure Kaz is just as annoyed as we are and he will do all he can to get this game out for us
