I believe it was also stated this car will be available as free DLC, so this won't be causing a delay.

The X1? It's going to be on the disc when it ships. The Mustang that won last years SEMA was the car that was mentioned as DLC. But the guy that owned the car said that back when GT5 was due out in March of this year. So it's probably on the disc now also.

Sorry to steer away from the conversation with Vettel's face (Anakin, absolutely)

Just to say I went to the Paris Gamesweek today, and there was nothing new asides the Seb Loeb challenge, it was the E3 build with other demos including the rally one with only the C4 and the GTR on it.

Unless something's happening on Sunday don't get your hopes up

here's the vid of what I got time to record - only on iTouch video hence mediocre quality - also the E3 Nurb bug was clearly shown there -.-' where I had to guess the track... and got lucky

I did get a chance on the steering wheel/pod setup and took all aids off and it felt good, you could swing the car (Motul Autech GTR) around with ease when you stopped spinning, with TC off and ASM off obviously, me being a little throttle-happy sent me sideways more often than not.

However the best thing about it was that it felt natural, and prologue felt completely different, which is the most encouraging thing I have experienced so far.

The Audi TT with the GT5 logo you saw in the pictures? That had a wheel inside so you could race in it, and the entire car moved slightly when you did anything in the game according to what was happening ingame (so lowered the front when braking for example), didn't get a try too long a queue, there was also a Citroen C4 WRC for the same reason as far as I could tell, almost certainly for the Seb Loeb Challenge

Also noises were improved as a side note

P.S. There was nothing new so not worth Creating a new thread for that matter

Has anyone played fancy mario?

for some reason i like kaz's version better. The fan isn't the problem, it's just that kaz's version looks more 'flowing'. Still, not much difference. the main difference would be the rear, looks like a double rear wing in Kaz's version, and then behind the front wheels, the fenders look a bit different, more like a LeMans prototype.

The X1 has double wings too, well technically triple, 2 at the top, one at the bottom :)

I wanna spend two words about photo mode.
Basing on the last photos downloaded by Japan official site about the X1 in the Red Bull Hangar, you can see a very high level of detail for the car: visual reflexes, lights, polygons ecc.. everything it's absolutely great!

I wonder when I'll make a photo to my Panda '90 in this hangar. It will be so cooooool!!! ;)

You're right, but honestly, what the hell is on or about 11/30/10? It's either November 30th, or it isn't - simple as that. That's like me suggesting my birthday is on or about September 5th. If that's their idea of clever, then, good lord. :ouch:

Could it possibly just meaning that if you order it you could recieve it a few days late due to delivery. However, I've never seen a retailer put that tolerence.

It's not a fake. It's a prototype for an upcoming phone that could be the PSPhone. Sony didn't say it was fake, and whatever source you got that from is lying. You can check one of the above users comments that reflect the words I just said with a link to the sixthaxis's website.

Again, what about the 'a' & 'b' instead of 'X' & 'O'?

Software written by people who weren't in on the design, undecided use of Playstation brand, or something else. It's not a new PSP, there's a chance it could have PSP compatible chips alongside the phone hardware but I'm not counting on it.

The recent "rumour" of a release date set to "on or about" November 30th does match with the info a fellow-countryman of mine (Portugal) posted here yesterday about information he had of a portuguese release at December 3rd.

November 30th is a Tuesday, usual launch day in the US while December 3rd is a Friday, usual launch day here in Portugal. Just like with the original set dates of November 3rd (US), 4th (JP) and 5th (Europe).

so whats going to happen here if 16 ppl run a stage in rally the last guy might have a hard time making it thru the stage due to the ruts everyone else made and the same for stages.?

The WRC has 2 passes per stage each day, usually.

Ingame, who knows?

Well I guess we're gonna have to wait till' SEMA. Grrrr... :grumpy:

Well maybe they're going to post something later today. But I doubt it. I'm sure they rather do it at a huge event.

Hi, I'm from Portugal too. I said this before, games in portugal are not released on fridays only. And the original dates you mentioned are wrong. USA was meant to be November 2 and Europe in November 3 (wednesday). Only UK had the November 5 because in UK, in fact, games are released on fridays.

In the end regardless, its only a game.

Ofcourse you're completely right in saying it's only a game but then again this is mostly only a game forum.
Context is everything, if we were debating real serious issues all the time in here, personal ones or horrible situations worldwide, and someone came in to say the wait for GT5 is what truly bothers him/her then that would be inappropriate, ignorant or annoying to say the least ( not that complaining within the current context cannot be annoying by the way ).

I don't mind people venting their anger or frustration once in a while ( I do it myself too ) in a preferably humorous fashion or at least regarding AUP as this is probably one of the few places to do it in ( annoying or not ) as we all should be aware of the fact it's only a game talked about in a forum dedicated to that particular game.
I don't need to be told it's only a game as I assume everyone here knows that to be the case and if not they're having serious underlying issues themselves which telling them it's only a game won't solve I guess ( or a blessed life if GT5 is the only worry you got ).

It's only when people seriously start comparing the feeling of waiting to depression or express their frustration without regarding the context ( and relative irrelevance ) and without a hint of irony that I turn off or laugh at those absurd notions.
To me GT5 will probably play an important part in my life when ( or if ;)) it releases simply because I will spend a lot of my free time ( and therefore life ) playing it in the near future, nothing more.
So yes it's only a game and this is only a game forum, that's the context or perspective within we're discussing, seriously or not.:)

As I say -> they USUAL launch the games in Portugal at Fridays. See the last games that were released.

And as for the dates, initially they indicated the November 2nd date as launch day, but after some time those I mentioned were the set dates for the different regions.

Well, UK and Germany...

I don't know if I can tell this in this forum , but for those that are interessed to PSM3 with GT5 info and can't buy it becouse don't live in UK or USA, I've find a downloadable PDF version. If someone tell me that is lawfull, I'll post the link where I find it.

Ewww a 4-stroke go-kart. Hope that's not in the game.

In E3 thy announced November 2 for USA and South America. In Gamescom they announced November 3 for Europe (dont remember Japan/Australia). And this dates never changed until the delay.

The UK date was pushed back to the 5th. Most games here are released on a Friday so that's why it was pushed back.

So how do we take this new release date then?
(At this point I have no idea)
Confirmed by Sony, semi-confirmed by Sony or absolute rubbish?
(I think it is a semi-confirmation. I am basically clutching at straws here and ready to believe any release date from any Sony branch.)
Is this a slip up by Sony style?
(Possibly, it wouldn't surpirse me)
Will the full release date be revealed before Sunday ends?
(Not a clue)
Are we happy with this date?
(I am considering it was scheduled for a holiday release)
