Seriously though..."on or about"? Is that like "maybe, maybe not", "On or about 11/30/10...NOT!" or just "...NOT!", or plain old "We gotcha AGAIN mwahahahaha!!!"

I don't know if I can tell this in this forum , but for those that are interessed to PSM3 with GT5 info and can't buy it becouse don't live in UK or USA, I've find a downloadable PDF version. If someone tell me that is lawfull, I'll post the link where I find it.

If you have the link post it. I've recently queried this with Jordan and his reply was "I don't think scans posted in the forum will cause much of a problem, but if we receive complaints about that they will need to be removed. "

Also I've just had a look at new edition of Play magazine and the GT5 hands on article but there's no new info or images at all. It details the weather and the X1 prototype but has no new info and obviously doesn't include the recent X1's full reveal. It also states November release but no specific date. Not worth buying or scanning.
 
Not sure if anyone else has brought this up but on the Paris Game Show site it says "Customization options are also unlockable and you can download additional content on the Playstation Network." Although I used my basic French and Google to translate it, the bit about DLC looks pretty interesting. Maybe it's just themes but hopefully it will be more expansive e.g. cars, tracks. Sorry if it's already been posted, just thought I'd put it up.

The UK date was pushed back to the 5th. Most games here are released on a Friday so that's why it was pushed back.

I kow, I said that in a previous post.
Europe =/= UK and Germany. Countries that get games on friday (like UK and Germany..) pushed it back to 5th, but other european countries that dont have that "friday release politic", mantained the November 3rd.

In E3 thy announced November 2 for USA and South America. In Gamescom they announced November 3 for Europe (dont remember Japan/Australia). And this dates never changed until the delay.

In Portugal, both NFS_Shift and F1 2010, for example, were released on a Friday. I remember that in the case of NFS_Shift that mean that we got the game in the market a day after the world release date.
 
Just noticed, (sorry if already brought up) in that PSM3 magazine, that there is an advert for GT5 with "Take it to the track in November". Anybody know if this advert is pre-delay or is this another lead to ,prehaps that 30/11/2010 date seen on Sony website :)
 
I have a feeling that we are about to celebrate a release date soon. Again.

Edit. I have to say it's a nice and warm feeling.

I'm probably gonna get some heat from saying this (wouldn't be the first time), but Its a game. Honestly, this frustraition over a game is really just sad. Is there not anything else more important then this game? And then you make this really unfounded claims as if to suggest these awards shows force PD to stop everything they are doing just because only Kaz is going there. You seem to forget that these same "crappy awards" don't necessarily mean halting everything and that they have ended up contributing cars in the game (Morrison Corvette Ring a bell?) Seriously, chill out. In the end regardless, its only a game.

It's a game, says the guy with 7000+ posts. Sorry, but that just cracked me up.

While I may be frustrated with the wait, this forum is a good outlet to discuss, learn, question, and yes, even rant. I wasn't trying to offend anyone here, but rather, express my disappointment with all that they're doing. All of which EXCLUDES giving us what we want: A SOLID DATE. Note: I didn't even ask for the game at this point. A date would suffice for now.

Oh well, I was ranting in that post. And I've got plenty other things to worry about. Today I take my kid to the zoo and just need to make sure he's bundled up. Before I go though, I need to get some gas in my jeep. Shortly after I finish my coffee right now, I'll hit the gym to do light cardio and weights.

But yeah, you get the picture, life's not on hold for me. It would just be nice to get a real date from Sony/PD. It's the fruit we're all waiting for to break some of the monotony of our daily lives.

The on or about 11/30 date says to me that if you pre-order the game it should arrive at your location on or about 11/30 this is actually a very accurate statement when dealing with shipping as delivery date can always vary by a day or two.

I'm just glad to see some dates showing up.

True, but they are from a gaming forum, no?

The thing that was funny to me was that he was telling me it's just a game, but he's posted so much on a gaming forum. So a possible deduction can be that he's way more into gaming than myself. I know he's been a member here for quite a while, but it's just when people try to make a statement, but forget to take a look behind them to see where they've been.

Even though its a gaming forum they also have real life topics such as Nascar, F1, automotive etc he is a pretty active member on this forum. We all want the game, I want it bad as hell man :lol: at least I get my fix playing the GT5 demo at Game Stop.
