Honestly, wtf. What game coming out in Fall already has a box art with ESRB on it? And the 90% completion thing. Now the first race of the official GTAcademy winner is in what month May!

In the mean time hopefully we'll be seeing GT5 at Canadian International Auto Show,February 12 — February 21 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Even if GT5 was delayed 3 months from March that would put it May or June depending if you count the month or not.

it's been beaten to death that the ESRB and other rating systems badges, were most likely PSed onto the cover since none had actual rating on them.

I hope my PS3 (which I bought in March 2008 especially for GT5) is still working when it will be released...

Its getting old meanwhile...

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. I bought my PS3 in May of '08 so I could get my hands on GT5P and, of course, in anticipation of the full release. It's been almost two years and will be going on three by the time we see the full fledged Gran Turismo 5. Will my PS3 and Logitech G25 still be in good working order then? I sure hope so.

If PEGI rates GT5 at 3, then obviously it's a pointless system. It rates the content, not difficulty and such. I'd love for someone to buy gt5 for their 3 year old and then wonder why their 3 year old can't take a turn. After all, the rating said it was suitable for the 3 year old.
Either way, my point still stands. No way EU would have a rated game before JP or US.

Why we both? The PEGI is for most parts of Europe, what the ESRB is for North America. We in Germany have the USK.

The box on the German website is also rated btw.

Exactly, just like the ESRB or the USK, thats their job, to rate how old you have to be to watch/use the content.

I dont know if its really rated or not, doesnt change what i posted and as you can see on the last page, GT4 was also rated 3+ from PEGI.

ok, but the argument wasn't about what the game was rated, even though it came to that, it was that the box art, wasn't necessarily implying the game has been rated.

Seriously, it's likely a placeholder, but then a game is never really finished, developers just need to actually release it at some time...

He's in Australia. They have a different system than we do in the US. Their system is backed by law, and knowing how some of their system works, I wouldn't be surprised if online instantly meant an increased rating.

And now some Portugese Sony executive I for one have never heard of is revealing the release date all of the sudden? I don't think so.
Just as everybody unfortunately, I don't know the real release date, but I do know it is not going to be announced by this Portugese guy.
He is just guessing and hoping it will do his career any good (btw I don't think so ).

So Gran Turismo release in fall = b*ll****, because it is as much a fact as Lindsey Lohan is smart.

p.s. I won't be surprised if they announce the release date a short time before the actual day of release, remember how late they announced the TT.

I have been an unconditional GT fan. but if Gt5 is really being released for Xmas then screw PD. I m getting an Xbox and Forza 3. like somebody said earlier I d rather play 1/2 of forza 3 than 0 gt5.
Xbox owners have had time to play forza 2 and now forza 3. these games might not be as good as what GT5 will be but at least they exist! how many hours of driving fun did xbox owners have since the inception of the systems?

If this is the SLS AMG video, and you're referring to the "the SLS AMG will be available in the real and virtual world in spring 2010" (or something to that effect, I haven't watched your posted video yet), I will have you know something. Mercedes-Benz is putting a game on the iPhone app store where you have to drive the SLS AMG through a series of tunnels. Seriously. Sounds dumb, I know, but this just means..........
