Can anyone make out what icon in the upper left corner stands for what?
Thats what I think:
1. (locked) Could be Weather
2. Lap Count
3. Racing Flags?
4. Damage
5. ???
6. Player Count
7. (the helmet with a "B") ???

Maybe someone got some ideas for the rest

I think the "Regulations" row isn't even that interesting for us right now, only the first row shows the new features.

Here's a thought. It looks like it could be a car with a tick on it. Maybe you can select a number of valid vehicles, like in the single player game. This option highlighted would mean everyone had to use a car from the approved list.

Makes sense they'd put a feature like this in there. US Muscle car cup anyone?

Now that we're all almost certain the game is coming out in the fall, how many of you think PD will continue working on it or it'll just sit in a warehouse somewhere til release time? I'm thinking they already blew through their budget and another 7-8 months of salary for dozens and dozens of people isn't cheap.

7. An indication of the driver level? Or a penalty level?

3. Displacement (picture of a piston)

Seems pretty damn promissing to me.

The "lock" can be for setting up passwords so I wouldn't be so positive.

Precisely. The only reason GT3 was released shortly after GT2 is because it had considerably less content. Which explains why GT4 took almost four years to be released: to compensate for the lack of content in GT3. And I hope people find relief knowing that, if GT6 is to be released in the PS3, it will take a lot less to develop than GT5.

You're WAYYY too optimistic. The only way Porsche will be in GT5 is though future DLC (and that's still a long shot)

What I mean is that it was not well made. It was made in the shortest time (as you saw in my post). Sure, it sold well (2nd highest selling game only to the GTA titles), but as far as content, I think many agree that it was sup-bar. Few tracks and cars and a very poor/uninteresting GT Mode.

Wow, that list missed out all the other stuff that PD have worked on, numerous GT Concepts, GT4 Prologue, GT5 Prologue, Tourist Trophy, countless manufacturer related demo's, GTHD, GT in 3D, GT in some insane mega pixel resolution, GT-R dash's, Citroen Super Cars, GT PSP, I also read they did some work helping out with other Sony first party rendering engines including that used in Insomniac games like Resistance and Ratchet.

I think it speaks lengths about Polyphony Digitals ethics, creativity and leading the way in creations and designing.

Sony is sometimes idiots and launching it so late that all gamers interest in this game faded because of other gamers and next gen.
