Yeah, I hate trees.
Yeah, I hate trees.
Not that in that real video there was very clear engine note in any speeds and wind noise was not overwhelming.
I like how we can see suspension working - for example after T1 before left hander.
And after watching comparison video - I second my own opinion that Nurb in GT5 is definitely too narrow...GT games have their scale problem and GT5 did not dill with it...
Note he never really goes past 100mph (165kph) on the speedo, and when he does the wind noise is increased, especially at the beginning, before the 1 minute mark. Not that in that real video there was very clear engine note in any speeds and wind noise was not overwhelming.
I have no problem passing or being passed at the Ring, but that is GT4.And after watching comparison video - I second my own opinion that Nurb in GT5 is definitely too narrow...GT games have their scale problem and GT5 did not dill with it...
I LAN race the Ring every week and have no issues racing with others. For online a few diehards. Nurburgring is too long for the average John Doe to have good racing
Nurburgring is overrated. Narrow, few passing opportunites despite 300 turns
I
good comparison video - Sunny and HD in an M5 - the bright green on the sun lit trees doesn't look so unrealistic now does it?
That guy is drifting the M5 pretty easily with passengers

At what time is he drifting? I don't have the patience to wach the whole vid but wouldn't mind seeing drifting on the Nurb.
Spa is overrated, I don't know what people see in it?

Yeah. Having driven the track in NFS:Shift, it doesn't seem all that spectacular to me. I'm sure it's the best track in the world to local people that live around it though.

All quite easy, much easier than you can do in most games. He's not even using a 200 degree wheel, or madly spinning the wheel around super fast
It certainly is next to impossible in the Time trial with a wheel, and even in the drift friendly LFS, is still harder than it should be!
He turns in hard, steps on the gas and easy counter steer, and then straightens up smoothly. No need to flick the car in. No dramas, no major snap back, or fishtails...

I'm sure there is a knack to it in the game, just like there is in real life.
It looks easy when you see people do it, but it isn't by any means easy.
I just remember watching Tokyo Drift, seeing the first epic fail race in the car park...

...More like it's the best track in the world to world class drivers like Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, and Kimi Raikkonen just to name a few. It's a very popular driver's track.
