Yeah.Maybe they have extra memory left and they just filling it.Anyway it looks awesome to me.Just damn good! :)

Hmmm.I just realized something - Imagine Data Logger in Nurnburgring!!! O_O I mean if all tracks will be so good (accurate!) as Fuji then its...its killer.I even can't imagine how good GT5 will be.There is so much vids of driving in 'Ring so many ppl have a chance to buy that Data Logger hardware - then we all see accuracy of the tracks and much much more!

But the data logger equipment is ridiculously expensive + the costs of getting it installed just right and it will only work on newer cars :nervous:.

I think that now we can see things clearly at distance, Look at the pit, in the new build, we can better see the building and all others stuff.

And the road really looks better and more real now.
Someone said that like then virgins... but i prefer it with a little more experience(the tracks). ;]

^ what you're saying because of the poor resolution of the prologue picture. I can't be the only one who sees the comparison as ridiculous.

The comparison isn't ridiculous. There are distinct changes and improvements, and that isn't the only image which shows this.

I'll have to say, Dave, that you're becoming quite the grumpy gus.

you can't really see any textures in the prologue picture. It just looks like mush because of the low res.
Only differences I see is color and a few things added here and there.
It's like one picture was taken with canon L glass and the other with a $20 sigma lens.

and a long white structure that appears to go over the road.

Thats to make people use the chicane and is in Prologue also, don't know why we can't see it unless of course that picture was taken on the other layout (Fuji F IIRC, no chicane used).

Cloud pattern is different too. You can see that the grass is a different shade, and the roughed areas near the curbs. More texture detail in the sand pits. Even that green matting on the curbs is different, plus some more muddy/dirt areas and one new section on far mid left near the railings. On the right side there are more orange bits and a long white structure that appears to go over the road.
And the extra tyre marks off course

It's like "search the differences"
you can see there's another billboard too.
In the penultimate bend

Here's the spot the different results for both images. Is that a man standing in a red racing suit in the bottom image?

I suppose it could be the world's most nonchalant - and tallest - fire marshal. He's about three-quarters the height of the safety fence :D

lol that's well funny, i'm such a doofus! I was trying to work out the point of adding a black wall to the track (to the right of the man in the red suit). It does make sence that this is actually part of the car.

Sony: a big announcement on Monday

Sony: a big announcement on Monday
The Net is boiling! . It seems that Sony makes a big announcement regarding the PlayStation 3 this Monday, February 15. We have connected our radar, our antennae out, prepared our best browsers, cleaned our software and mail out our wireless keyboards for that possible announcement.

Nothing else...
Release schedule, 3d, motion controler??

Or sony's announcement like every announcement....hype for peanuts

The cars which came out in 2009, which we have not seen yet, are going to be old yesterdays news when the game comes out later on in the year, so cars which have been launched towards the end of 2009, and this year, I guess PD will want to include in the game - so more time is needed to model these cars and then more delays to follow I should imagine - it's like a vicious circle.

I wonder if PD have got to a point where they are not allowing any more cars to be submitted into the final release cut of the game?

a solution for this would be DLC,
but yeah.. Maybe Kaz just doesn't like that.

So... GT5 for September... (or at least this is what OPM UK says right?).
I don't know how to feel. 7/8 months more. Sad...

P.s.: I hope it's only a bull s***, well... one more
