I have a feeling there is going to be no real news for very long time, probably E3. And even there I would not expect much. Just like GT4 PD will probably keep about 50% of the game totally under wraps.

I want it that way, need just the date.
And yes, we need to wait those 4 months to E3 -IMO...

I actually think we'll get lots more news, and quite soon!

With todays announcement of an official psn weekly magazine starting in march (FirstPlay), i fully expect lots of little GT5 nuggets of awesomeness. Probably in the form of screens and videos!

do you still believe there are going to be news about GT5? I think we won't see any news till E3. Silence isn't good sign.I don't want to see any trailers anymore..I don't want to watch Game events videos.Everyone played this game without Us(GTFANS) It's really annoying to know this reality. I think Kazunori is testing our patience..He wants to know How much we love Gran Turismo?..Even GT5 too late to release- we gonna get it.He knows it and he trust our GT love-passion

Source? Or general speculation?

Almost a month without any GT5 related news.
How hard can it be to take a few pictures and post them, like most developers do when their games are near completion.
What kind of wacky marketing strategy are this people using?! Repel the customer, destroy the confidence, kill the loyalty, and then ask for money?!

It's a Japanese thing - being modest and all :)

well, its not working for me. If i wasnt so much invested in GT5 (PS3, 30 odd blu rays, 10 or so games) I wouldve jumped ship to Forza.
Why would a GT fanboy switch to an inferior game?
Well its like this, Forza has great community relations. Thats becoming more importent to me every newsless week that passes.
Also car list.
Car list you ask? GT5 has over 1000 cars, Forza less than half.
True, but Forza has a much greater percentage of cars I want to drive. (I'm using GT4s car list as a guide here)
Bottom line, yeah, Im still gonna wait for GT5, yeah I'm gonna buy it, and yeah, I expect tyo enjoy it, but after going through this mockery for a third time,
I've soured on the PD/Sony way of treating their costamers.
So now let all the Kool-aid drinkers have at me.

Their mistake was showing us screens over 2 years ago. They should of waited. Although I don't see how they have been worse than any other game company.

It would be great if they just wouldn't lie. March Japan release, then technical problems, on hold indefinitely, an update soon, then the game is 90% done?! I mean, are they that incompetent or do they really think the fans are that stupid?

couldn't have said it any better myself 👍

Doesn't matter how many words small or not you use this doesn't make sense logically.

Buying a PS3 is investing in GT5, buying 30 odd Blue ray movies isn't, nor is 10 or so other games. That's investing in movies and games, none of which have anything to do with GT5.

Ok I'll make it simple so you can understand.
I have a ps3, i have a blu ray collection, and several ps3 games. got it?
To switch to forza i'd need to buy an xbox 360. still with me?
great.
Now if i was starting with nothing, no gaming console no games no propriatory disc format movies, i would choose to buy Forza 3 and an XBox for all the reasons I listed above. right before I predicted the Kool-Ade drinkers responses.
