For what it's worth, I'd like to see the following addressed in future updates of GT5:

1) Greatly reduce the loading times between menu screens

2) When attempting an A-spec race only to see that you don't have the required car, have a button to go straight to the dealership or used car markets

3) Stop custom-music changing track halfway through loading a track - keep the same track playing

4) Allow custom music for the auto shop, car markets and tuning areas

5) Allow replays to be fast-forward or rewound

6) Allow B-spec races to be fast-forward such as 2x 4x 8x and 16x

7) Overhaul the sound effects for when cars collide

8) Overhaul the AI

I was very surprised not to see some kind of long straight for top speed tests, does anyone remember the trailer and also in the vettel challenge video of the airport runway of some kind? The trailer showed the runway at sunset and it looked really cool with the lights, it could be the runway from Top Gear test track but yea, some kind of long straight/oval for top speed tests would be nice, kinda miss the Las Vegas straight from GT4

Does anyone think it would be sweet to have an airfield for drags or top speed runs??

Well, the Top Gear test track is an old airfield with traffic cones, just ignore the traffic cones and you'll basically halfway there I guess, although it's too short to reach the topspeed of the more powerful cars.

I also agree with those 8 issues (outlined above) that could do with being addressed - it would really help the game.

Seeing we haven't had an update for over a month now,I'm expecting a load of features to be added. And hopefully not just the remote b-spec mode.

I think the last big update was more than a month's worth of fixes and features and included development work that wasn't ready in time to be included in the final retail version. I would be surprised if any single update is anywhere near that big.

The next update should be a PS3 on my front door. Sucks to be missing a GT5 fun for 3 months. I wish Sony had put some type of GPS tracking device on my PS3 so they can find who stole my PS3.

I don't know if anyone caught it on log-in, but apparently Seasonal Events are going to be updated EVERY Wednesday, +/- 1 day if not. :-D

I don't know if anyone caught it on log-in, but apparently Seasonal Events are going to be updated EVERY Wednesday, +/- 1 day if not. :-D

It also said that we can expect more Special Events in the future (separate to the seasonal events)

Give us a more interesting game! I don't know why they left out any drag strip from this game, or the full Top Gear track. I probably would be 1000 times less bored of this game if there was drag racing online.

I'd also like to see the ability to...

1) Add a profile picture as your driver picture instead of just a screenshot from photo mode.

2) Ability to edit the names of your B-Spec drivers.

For some it might actually be the first time they've heard this tune....anywhere (the very, very young).

I know, sadly our arts education has suffered so much in the world that music is more recognizable by what TV show it is the theme to rather than it's original title.

I actually got in an argument with a girlfriend in college one time when I had the full version of "Suicide is Painless" on my iPod and she said I had it labeled wrong.

That would be "The MASH Theme Song" by the way.

It isn't just education, things move on and our personal (or generational) frame of reference (especially regarding popular culture) isn't necessarily passed on or even evolving to the next generation, a lot logically just disappears or turns up later in a new, often ironic context.

The worst example I experienced was when I mentioned the term Big Brother once (ofcourse referring within the original context of 1984) when I was met with baffled glances asking what a reality TV-show had to do with it.........

Talking about "Suicide is Painless", I did hear a cover version by the Manic Street Preachers once which wasn't bad.
And this comes from a guy who owns this corny box set.....

Well, while GT 5 may give a new context to "The Entertainer", it just as well gives young players a chance to get into contact with some rather brilliant examples of classical music in the menu-music-chooser-thingy, and, I might add, by the pieces' original name. Only they're not all originally made by Lang Lang...

So, Kudos for GT 5 on this one!

So I just did the level 30 Suzuka endurance on b-spec... close to 6 hours and winning the race in a Formula GT. As soon as the car finished the race the game froze. I gotta say I'm very disappointed of this issue and grateful I didn't do this in a-spec :S. Porbably won't be touching endurance a-spec for a while
