What would you think is reasonable then? People complained about the Touring Cars, bleating about wanting new cars. So PD give us new cars and still people whinge!

When I checked into the Online Lobby earlier tonight, I saw one of the newer downloadble content cars for the first time- the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X touring car. Sweet looking car.
I am curious about that new update that will allow the changing of wheels on Standard cars. I remember someone posting a petition or something about wanting to see wheels from GT4 for Standard cars in GT5. What wheels will we see? How will it all be implemented? Sure like to see what results from this.

Iam happy to see the update and especially wheels for standard cars* but the DLC cars are very meh and of course yet another GTR.
*I know iam getting my hopes up for a full selection of hi-poly premium quality wheels when in reality I know all you will be able to choose from is a limited supply of equally PS2 era flat blocky wheels.

I'm actually quite happy with the selection that they have chosen for this DLC and think 4 cars and at such a cheap price is great (provided there are more packs like this to come every now and then).
I mean c'mon we can all bleat about there being another GT-R, however it is PD and GT-R's are their thing and this is the latest, you'd be be crazy to think they wouldn't include it at some stage.
Not to mention 3/4 are Euro's, besides the Mini which I'm meh about (but I'm sure there are people that want it), I'm quite excited about the Scirroco (?) and the Golf R... I was disappointed when GT5 didn't come with them so I'm glad they added them.
However I'm really hanging out to drive the Aventador

If PD would have just taken the cars from wishlists on this forum, everybody would be happy. Front wheel drive Volkswagens and another GTR are definitely not what majority would want.

See a Forza car pack. Those packs have direction and purpose. They're labeled and make sense. These newest cars are.....the 3 German cars plus one Nissan GTR pack? lol...is that its name?
Of course because nothing is perfect. But with suggestions and careful whining, you can make things happen. It's a scary world when people simply accept what IS. And what only is. We support the games financially. Don't YOU forget that.

We should also never forget that it's nothing but a video game. It's not a life changing decision to purchase the game and/or the DLC content offered. So those that don't like it really do not have to purchase it.
I for one will never get to drive either of the VW's, so this is the closest I'll get to doing so. I'll gladly pay $4 to drive them, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than actually buying one.

I am a big fan of these updates, but these DLC 'packs' are making me scratch my head. I am still waiting for a big boy pack with some heavy hitters.

You're getting the idea here. haha
Heavy hitters= cars that make your mind want to explode. Cars that make you say: HOLY, ****, PD MODELED THAT CAR?
Now, to each his own, of course. So for some, an '11 Mini Cooper may be everything. Or maybe the two VW's get you excited. But I am awating a heavy hitter to break my jaw (because I won't stop talking about it all damn day!). A heavy hitter can be a classic car (Pantera, Trans AM, etc), or it can be a new supercar (Agera R, Aventador, Zonda Cinque), or it can be a new pony/muscle car (ZL1 Camaro, Charger SRT8, Boss 302 Mustang). For me, it's any of those.

Something like a BRM Type 15 would be nice, though, or a 6R4 - something like that.

I can Understand why People are dissapointed with the Number of cars included Opposing Forza 4's Number of DLC cars per month .
However we all Know Premium cars take more time than Forza's .
Interesting question is will any or all of the new cars be RMable ??

Lol, because there's not innumerable wishlist threads all over GTPlanet that they could poll if they were interested.
Is PD even aware that this massive community of (mostly) well-informed and constructive discussion of their game exists?
