Hopefully they pay close attention to the way GT5 was received and they actually do what they say they are going to do. And maybe surprise us with the some Mundane stuff that we didn't get.💡

Looking at the above picture; Wonder how close the times are going to be going around that corner?

Anyway, pretty cool the way it's set up ...it's not just a full course TT (at least for the one event above)

It's called leaderboards.
Sarcasm I know. I don't mean it, it just says a lot when people are wetting there pants for such mundane things.
Mundane in as much as this should be in from day one.

Imagine if they let you loose with an unlocked paint can!!!

AND it's only on the official GT Japanese site. As of yet, it hasn't been posted on the US site.

Has it been officially confirmed they are excluded once again? If so, that is indeed strange (Unless the map is reffering to Track locations and not necessarily Currently eligible GT Academy countries)

I think its because the whole world can play it, but won't be advancing further than this part of the competition, unless you are from one of the eligible countries

I don't stay on top of this stuff, but seen the menu pic at the bottom of the link, along with the track pics. Figured it was relevant.

Honest mistake 👍 word of advice just search dude. The folks around GTP are like beep reporters as soon as new news hit they are on it. I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

Wow I love it, if we get a few "license test" style challenges for the GT Academy! Thats a fresh breath for the Academy. This will get brutal close, if not exactly the same times on the first places 👍

At least we are going to know finally who is bad and who is good at the game not using advantages as they all use in the seasonal time trial events.

That would just be ridiculous if that flat out corner was a TT. The way I see it is you have to beat the target time and obviously if you do you move to the next stage. If you don't beat the target time then before the deadline you will be eliminated from GTA. It will for sure get tougher as time goes on and I guess the final stage or two will be full on TT against your region to determine who goes to national finals.

The gold, sliver and bronze are the same, they are just for show. It will be the highlighted bit of track which you will run. No way that would take 1'23.XXX

Are people not noticing the obvious ascending pattern to the numbers? It's just 123456 as a placeholder time. If that didn't tip it off the fact that gold through bronze are all the same time should have. Has nothing to do with that specific test.
