Camry's are built not just in the US, but in Japan, as well as a number of other countries. Meanwhile, the 5th generation Camaro is built only in Canada.

I'm a proud owner of a Japan-built Camry. ;)

You're right, I was wrong. Camry's are not built in Tennessee. They are built in Georgetown Kentucky.

Still trying to find out why a green is listed as yellow.

You asked for it, and I know Mopar history, so you're getting the answer whether you were serious or not:

In 1970, Mopar introduced a bunch of optional colors called "High Impact," due to the fact that they were wild and outrageous. They all featured clever names, such as Plum Crazy, Panther Pink, Sub-Lime, and Top Banana.
Curious Yellow (paint code GY3, a fluorescent yellow-green) debuted in 1971 and caused a bit of a controversy because it was named after the contemporary Swedish porn movie "I Am Curious Yellow"

I can imagine the headlines now.

Yeah, some are future. I didn't look through the entire list of these latest 9, I saw most of them, got to the 2013 model and made my post. I'm thinking the only reason why the Lincoln is in there is because it's being used or featured in movies lately. Making it "relevant". If T10 offered a 1976 Ford LTD Station Wagon, with wood panels I would REALLY have to question why they would be doing that. You know, because that car is so incredible irrelevant to any faction of car culture.

Perhaps current isn't really what I was aiming for, relevant is a better word.

I don't see how any one person's concept of "relevance" should have an impact on whether a car should be included. The way you're using it, it just means "cool". I think it'd actually be pretty cool if GT did include said station wagon; it would be relevant to my interests, you might say.
And what makes it "solid DLC"? The cars are all relevant and moving the game forward..

Where is the ZL1 Camaro in GT5? We'll get that 2012 model car in GT6 in 2014 (hopefully 2013). Boss Mustang? New drop top Vette Grand Sport we see blowing out black & white candles? I'm sure you'd like that Vette now and not when it becomes a museum piece?

Has the DLC we've gotten really advanced the game forward or just kinda kept it treading water? We are all floating around waiting for the nest great GT5 DLC. Which probably won't amount to a hill of beans, based on DLC this far.

It's fine if those are the sorts of cars you like. If not, "relevance" falls flat on its arse.

The problem with GT5's DLC so far has nothing to do with so-called relevance. It's just been too thin on the ground for a start, and it largely included the sorts of cars that are already included in the base game. In short, it's the variety in the DLC that has failed. It's the variety that makes FM4's DLC so attractive (as well as its sheer proliferation, which is sort of the same thing).

Because, you know, different things are relevant to different people. ;)

The other attractive thing is new cars, in terms of age. They've added so many 2010+ cars to that game and whilst GT5 DLC has added a handful of 2010+ cars they're still a long way behind as a whole. I just hope that's because they've saved the majority of new 2012/3 cars for GT6 and not because they haven't modelled any more yet.

Which killjoy closed the lighter side of GT5 in the comedy caption /meme thread?

For not being funny...

That's a good one, but you can unlock it now.

Thank you for your time.

I'm surprised it went for as long as it did considering it was nothing but off-topic spamming.

I just realized if we can export our money form GT5 to GT6 we all win the lottery...
Why not race a McLaren F1 in the Sunday Cup?

I don't need a money transfer option. Not having money in the beginning is the most fun part in any GT game. Not long ago I started a new GT5 session and I spend all the starting money to car parts and then gifted those parts to friends. Then I used special events to earn money for my first car and bought a 60's VW Beatle. That was fun.

I wouldn't transfer anything. I like to start fresh.
Me too, but I don't want a Skyline or a Miata as my first car.
If there was a transfer option, it wouldn't be more than 100,000Cr.
Probobly true. That is what they did in GT4, and it paid for my fully upgraded Mustang as my first car.

That is a very good idea. I was never able to beat any of the special events that you can't take your own car.

Famitsu has it covered here. I don't think much was said, though, if Google Translate is any indication. Can someone who knows the language take a look at it?

It needs a "no complaining" disclaimer if it were to come back
