EDIT: This is as close as I could get Alex ;):

Thx, that's superb! I don't think I could catch it better, you're right, it happens so fast it's impossible to catch it right. At the latest at E3 we'll see if that's possible what I supposedly saw in the video...

All those stupid "Overtaking" missions were a pain in the 🤬.

I do enjoy starting at the back & working my way through the pack. It was just that F40 one on prologue was an absolute pain in the backside. From getting the car set up correctly (thanks forums) to actually getting that perfect lap together. Very fist in the air satisfying & screaming yeah when I'd done it, but that's cos it took me days.

I'd just like GT5 to have a little less of that type of event, & some longer races with stiffer AI, so it's more of an ongoing challenge rather than 1 absolute bitch of a 1 lap race. Given 2 laps, that F40 would have wiped the floor with everything else in that event.

Ohh sure, I also like to start at the back and do my effort to overtake the pack. I jsut hate when I have only one lap to do it, on a car I dislike, and against the problem GT AI has; the first place, no matter what car it is, flies :banghead:.

Definatley not the intro every gt game intro had and forever will have a new version of Moon Over the castle and we already heard a glimpse of the new one

GTPSP has "Moon Over The Castle"???

Also, I'd like a link to the glimpse of the new one you're talking about. Should sound great 👍. It's not that I dislike the music on this trailer, but Moon Over The Castle is just like the "Anthem" of the GT Nation :dopey:.

Just search for the ending video of GT PSP but answering your first question GTPSP didn't have Moon over te castle in its intro but probably because they can't show us the new one and spoil it 💡

Noticed sth. while watching the trailer for the 6th time or so, at exactely 1:37 when the Citroen Rally Car hits the Subaru, it looks to me at least, that the Citroen is damaged too, of course at the place, where it had contact with the Subaru, I mean the right headlight, not sure though...what do you think guys?

Me too o.o

Can't really tell. The quality is so bad I can't really see any details. I think it's just noise from the bad compression.

I don't know about these images but in the full game then maybe, just maybe, if damage is on in a race then all cars in the race will be subject to damage. Or am I crazy to think that?

Then a WRC Subaru and a WRC Citroen might have different levels of damage?

no, I don't think so. The wrc cars will have the highest level of damage, doors and body parts flying off. Normal cars will have dents, and supercars will have scratches.

Wow, you got it right. So often I see people trying to explain it, but they fail hard. It's really easy to understand.

The cars meant to get down and dirty will show more damage.

No, I jest not. I'm being serious. It must be from the other site I use, because posters there have no idea what the damage will be like. At least I can explain it to a degree. As apparently you can, too.

why would you need another site? As long as it's not gamefaqs, I guess its allowed.

Uhm, where do you know that from?

kaz said it somewhere. That or it was implied. Why else would he say both extremes unless there was a middle ground?

It is Gamefaqs. I don't there exclusively for GT5, though. But it's funny to see the difference between posters there and here. It makes you appreciate a forum dedicated to one series compared to a site that is much ore broad.

I think there are 2 levels of damage yet: The high level damage for the WRC cars and the lower level for any kind of road cars, which includes supercars.

Plus, we don't know what damage will look like for NASCAR and the F1 cars...

Don't forget other race car as: super GT, LM prototypes, GT car and touring car

I'm going to disagree.

^I think he meant "supercar" as in Lambo Gallardo and Ferrari Enzo, which are considered production car, will have limited visual damage.
I hope this is an old trailer, if that's the final damage or close, they wasted their time.
Mechanical damage > Visual Damage

I'm going to disagree.

1. Who defines what's a "normal" car and a supercar?

2. Even if road cars will have diffrent types of damage, it would refers to what company the car belongs to. Or do you think Ferrari says you can damage our F430 more than our F50? That makes no sense at all.

That's why all road cars will have same level of damage.

Production cars (from Camaro's to Civics to ZR1's to Enzo's) will suffer the same damage: Dents, scratches, scuffs. It probably won't even be THAT amazing once we see it, but at least it's something.

Then the rally cars, NASCAR cars and likely a few others will show much more damage: Doors falling off, bumpers falling off, etc. And then the whole interior view + damage will separate it very much from the production car damage.
