Does anyone know why the GOW 3 Trailer on the news page is now saying video removed by user???

Because the uploader removed it:idea:. I don't know why...
Anyway I got it, I can try to upload it on my channel give it a name that has nothing to do with gt and post it here.

Yup, smashed headlight on the C4 WRC.

That would be amazing, but I can't tell the same just by that horrible quality picture, I guess that headlight is just darker than the other because of the shadow effects.

No, I meant if they can't do a proper visual damage then don't do it at all, take all that time and focus on mechanical damage instead.

I'd be willing to bet it's because GoW3 shouldn't even be out yet, so a video of an unannounced teaser trailer for GT5 from a game that isn't actually on the shelves yet is something of a Sony security breach. You'd be looking at them making copyright claims at least until GoW3 is actually released (March 16th), and possibly until they post the video themselves on their own blog.

Agreed. Any company thinking they can prevent video piracy, to any degree, in the 21st century just aint living in the real world. Kinda cute to see them try right enough but I'll grab it on torrent shortly

Yes, "gonna" is a comonly accepted colloquial form of "going to" .

Back to topic, is there a way SCE can remove the trailer if it's outside, say, Youtube or Vimeo? I understand that they can get in touch with such media and ask them to remove the videos for "Whatever the reason", but if it's for example Jordan's server? What reason are they gonna give? Or how are they gonna remove it?

My guess is that even though headlights become smashed they'll still be illuminating because a night race without lights in a circuit without proper ilumination would be veeeeeeeeeeeeery hard, really hard.

It's not even about piracy. It's about a trailer for an upcoming game. Publicity! But nooo, Sony / PD don't want any publicity for GT5 O.o

Lucky you...my two reasons I bought my PS3 are faaaaaaaaaar way. Front Mission Evolved and GT5. Heavy Rain sounds interesting but I spent (rather stupidly, or very very incredibly stupidly) the money I had saved for it .
