Guys, I am sure I am not the first one to notice this...
Several cars in the new pictures have windshield wipers! Rain is, hopefully, going to fall on GT5 as expected... I can't way for some footage about rain...

Cars in GT5:Prologue already had wipers.

Not to complain or anything, but i never understood why people are so bent on visual realism. Every game that's supposed to look "more realistic" ends up being the same old depressing gray-a-thon.. I personally like the colorful world of GT with it's perfect weather conditions and live colors :dopey:

Actually I like it too, but I think is a little bit excessive. I just like to see more pronounced sunlight, and seems like they've done to demonstrate how the weather can change from one race to another.

I just want the game to have variations of the sunlight, from cloudy and gray skies to the normal sunny, warm and perfect GT day, and I believe that we will get it, they won't do 8 or 80, rain or sun. In Kazunori we trust! :D

I heard that each car will have windscreens as well. Is this true? If so, GT5 will be the most realistic game ever!!

You must love GT5 Prologue, not to mention GT1-4 and the TT Demo.

EDIT: I'm guessing your not a fan of the Veritas RS III.

Nice find! 👍 Also, A friend of mine it's kind of a "photographer', he's not professional but he knows what he's doing with the camera, and one of his complaints about GT5P is that there's a lot of sunlight filtering, the weather looks too perfect and clear and there's a lot of contrast and color everywhere, it's not the way the human eye sees the real colors, it kills some of the realism on the replays. The sun effects seems more pronounced in this build, so there's less contrast and the result shaves off some of the impression to be watching a videogame. 👍 PD Rocks!

yes i bellieve the gt5p is ''hyperrealistic''...the gt5 is perfect!i hope for may 22!

An old video I came across outlining the development and showing of Gran Turismo 4 (in JAPANESE?)

a TWO PART DOCUMENTARY, ENJOY
the song from 1:18 - 2:09 is greek and called MYTHODEA

Translation:
In 2001,in front of the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens, a concert took place from the famous composer around the world Vangelis Papathanasioy dedicated in the travel of the spacecraft "Odysseus' to planet Mars. The important element of this concert, which had cost $ 2.000.000 and was financed by NASA, was that it was transmitted LIVE to planet Mars via satellite!
The well known MYTHODIA concert, after it's projection had caused various comments in regard to her enchanting content. However many people said that there wasn't only a simple musical representation that took place that evening, but something more.
sorry for my off topic thread:nervous::nervous::nervous:

For the majority who don't speak Dutch the guy expects GT5 to come this spring, it's just his guess, he does not explain why or how he comes to this conclusion.
Just his gut feeling, for what it's worth............
It is not worth much, I would just like to know why he said that it is coming earlier than we expect. What does he know?

Either he has some inside knowledge but not the permission or courage to explain any further, or more likely because he's a complete and utter tw#t surrounded by complete and utter tw#ts making a useless sh#!e program devout of insight, general knowledge or sense of humour. ;)

For those unaware what i'm talking about, a Dutch gaming site/tv program........

What would be awesome and realistic, and probably not hard to accomplish if weather is already in there, is to sample the weather forecasts from the locations close to the real world tracks and simulate that. Like, partly sunny, mostly cloudy, cloudy with scattered showers, rain, etc... With most PS3s hooked up to the internet anyway (and Kaz did say the online is a BIG deal), I don't imagine this would be very difficult to program and for those without internet (like me... for now) or who don't like it (why!?), it would/could be disabled. To me, I think this is the most probable meaning of "dynamic weather"; meaning, it doesn't change within a race, but changes with the real world weather. Then you get the realism of cloudy without the depression and dreariness of it being constant. Here's hoping!

gt5 should get the real life weather updating system from flight simulator x wich updates every 15 minutes to real world weather.. that would be sweet..

TDU had it quite nice if you ask me, when there were no clouds you had very lively colors and then the clouds started gathering everything went darker and you really got the feeling it's going to rain anytime, but it still kept everything nice and cool without getting too grim

You could really have a point there, and I am being serious. I dunno if you've watched any 3D movies on TV but if you're like me and don't have any cleaning/housework OCD (I'm probably at the other end of the spectrum tbh) and get a little dust on the screen, it's not noticable when watching normal programs but when watching 3D movies it's like looking through a dusty window and the 3D effect is more pronounced because it's got something to reference against. If you're playing GT5 in 3D in cockpit view and you get some dust/dirt built up or have rain effects on windscreen I think that could be pretty awesome.

No way.

I think everyone predicting a fall release are right on the money. Pretty sure we'll see a blow-out and a release date at E3. 👍

Yeah, I think this is the most likely thing to happen.

To those who are saying it is the same as last year; It isn't. This time last year we never had a release date or a delay. We never had confirmation of NASCAR or damage, and of course many other things.
