BALOCCO!!!

I was going to use that name as one of my aliases. Good for you! I assume you know what it means and the history it has with a certain car make :)

Never seen it move before, SLS AMG retractable airfoil (moving in gt5).

I'm hoping that since GT now simulates air, it's functional in-game and not just a nice visual touch.

Of course I do. The Alfas from the 60s through to the early 70s are, in my mind, the most wonderful things in the world, and they wouldn't have been as good as they are if it wasn't for Balocco.

Guys, has there been any mention of Touge at all? I've been watching a lot of Best Motoring/Hot Version lately aswell as playing alot of Battle Gear on the arcade's on Mt Akiga. Got me thinking about how incredible it would be if there was a touge track in GT5. I don't think I've heard or seen anything though. Just checking with you guys. Do you guys think because PD have a partnership with BM, they would include their touge?

The touge track Best Motoring use, if that were to make it to GT5, I think I'd have a heart attack from major levels of excitement.

Have you seen the Japanese show where they drive these Touge races?

It'd be so great to have one of those narrow Japanese roads in the game!

I seriously doubt they have any kind of real-time aerodynamic calculations going on, to actually calculate your car's drag with the aero-brake engaged or disengaged, and then change those values on the fly. That would require some serious processing power, I think...It's probably precalculated.

It is on mine. Also, the same applies as above :D

And you have one disc I'd like to have dear friend ;)

So please, check your PM's when you find time, that particular backup - or even a brand new one from Land of Rising Sun - would make a great addition to my humble collection :D

Its not really a news but i was reading ps blog , and found this:

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll set something up soon. We all read the GT forums on a very regular basis and appreciate all of it.

I guess they do read the forums
If anyone from SONY had the nerve to participate here openly, they'd better keep the Ignore hammer ready. This place has too many tools in it.

This goes for amar too. The Ignore hammer thing, I mean. :D

It would take a lot more processing power to calculate the grip effect of puddles, especially on a number of cars. Variable drag coefficients would be a lot easier.

I'm also expecting something meaty from E3. A full on blowout? I hope so, but I'll take what I can get. Since I'm anticipating a summerish release, I'm betting on a blowout.

So good to see you here again. 👍
*hug*

It's well under way ;)

Also I've been told I'm now allowed to add that "the car" is a Le Mans 24 Hour class winner (so, my apologies to those who aren't race car fans).

*shakes head in disappointment*

This...again? (lol!)

And just to reaffirm this position: Nothing can be confirmed (until the time is right says Famine). So if you guess right, you won't even know.

That=silly.

Bentley Speed 8, (BMW) McLaren F1 GTR, or Jaguar XJR-12 are most likely. Personally, I was hoping for the Renault Alpine A442B, but that has the letter "P" in it...:sly:

EDIT: "Class winner" could include Astin Martin DBR9

See? And everybody was crying for Amar, thinking he left.

Silly.

He stopped to hand us information, even if it was in the form of cryptic messages. Next time he gives us information, then you can say we were silly.

Silly? Silly you.

Mate, if I were to point out every silly comment/thread/poll you have ever made... I would still be typing by the time GT5 is released.

Really? They got great feedback, great number of votes. So the majority has spoken.;):sly:

No offense taken by the way (assuming you wanted to take a stab at me lol)

And what exactly do you see is happening here?

As I sit here typing this sentence, I'm literally at a loss for words. I don't know what you're asking or why you even decided to respond with that whole "your threads/comments/ polls suck comment".

Because first off: They were successful and helped me determine a lot of things.

And secondly, what the heck are you asking again? (lol)
