I think 9.5/10 posters would take those rides over useless Japanese box cars. But ask Fool Killer. He's that .5

:):odd:

make me .25. I was never a huge fan of supercars or fast stock cars. I prefer taking normal cars and making them more fun.

So, instead of GT adding NEW manufacturers, you'd want more [boring] models from manufacturers already in past GT titles?

We want to go forward, adding more and more manufacturers.

Plus me and analog (I think) - so that's 76 votes for the Koenigsegg, then? :P

I'm all for new manufacturers, but I wouldn't expressly miss the Koenigsegg, or the Carrera GT or the Zonda R, certainly not the Maserati MC12 (it's just a marginally "better" Enzo) if they don't make it... As Dave said, it's all about hot-rodding - making something special out of something ordinary! :dopey:

No, man, not a all. It's just a matter of availability and eligibility. Be happy with what we have and don't fret about what we could maybe have.

If GT included just ONE new more manufacturer, what would you like it to be?

Now, you have to answer :)

I really couldn't care less. I've driven maybe 1/20h of the cars in GT4. Most just don't appeal to me.
If I had to pick one I'd have to pick Porsche. Driving a GT3 is just damn fun even when going slow. Zonda, Gumpert, Koenigssssssggggggggggeeegegegeg doesn't excite me cause they have what 1 car in the range with essentially different model names depending on power output.
I maker with 8 average cars is better than one manufacturer with a supercar IMO.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't complain if those cars (for example) did make it in, I may even drive them at intervals where I'm bored with the GT-mode progression.

I'm pretty sure I didn't even realise some of the cool cars in GT4 were even in the game, I only recently did a proper scan through all the dealers!

Porsche is an obvious must for the series, but I've coped without it this long that I won't keel over if they don't appear in GT5.

And what about the guests? I see those 17 guests lurking right now. Come on, guys! Join the fiesta!

I've been visiting these forums for over two years and check it about twenty times a day. Just recently I joined but I never log in. I just enjoy reading (you guys make me laugh so much) the posts and comments you guys make. I think it is safe to call me a full time "lurker". Stay tuned for my next post in 2 years. :)

An user on NeoGAF uploaded a capture that seems show that all demos shown until now are selectable from a switch menu in the demo code.

Yep thats me too. The internet is just a passive experience for me. I get too much drama in my daily life to come on here and join in. As someone said before "all of the haters hatin". Also, I never really pay much attention to who says what, but definitely pay a lot of attention to what is said.

But I do have to say, that I love the site. I think its one of the best forums out there.

Forza would really appeal to you since it seems all they have is the cars that are popular. Oddball cars are some of the funnest things to drive and more people like them than you think. Sure a large majority would love to have a Koenigsegg but that doesn't mean the kei cars should be gone completely.

Only one? Well i choose Maserati, it would add some class and history to complement Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani.

Doesn't mean i don't like my Japanese hatchbacks by the way.

Again, you assume that adding one means having to lose another. An error I refuse to make. I have only ever argued against losing cars, never against adding cars. My personal desire is as many real-world cars as possible.

Personally, I would love some additional history.

I would love to see things like:
Packard
Stutz
Talbot
Pierce Arrow
Tucker
Hudson

But then I am a sucker for classic designs from the early days, when every man with a dream started up a car company.

But if I could just pick one from the list, I'd suggest Hudson just because it has some mass appeal now and does have some racing history behind it. Especially now that we have NASCAR.

Foolkiller, the Stutz i'd like to see is probably not the one you meant. ;)

It's probably a few decades too late for your taste.

That one is nice too, but I was thinking of something like the boattail or the town car.

Nothing says uppity rich more than having a car where you are protected by the elements but your driver gets rained on, or whatever is going on around the car.

Where is the public? in GT4 there was plenty of them?

The public kept on complaining about the lack of skidmarks and spent too much time asking why the trees look better on the Tokyo track then they do on Nurburgring so PD told them all to go home. Also, half of them got the time of the race wrong because the clock in their car wasn't working and were scared to reverse out of their driveway because they had no reverse lights. I'm sure some of them also thought that it was another sunny day, and since there has been no sign of rain for the past 5 years then they may as well spend the day at the beach. One or two had major accidents, where although their car only came out with a few minor scatches, they themselves did require serious medical attention and are consequently in hospital. I do hope they are ok.

I'm fully prepared to be booed for this post, but what other excuse is there?

FoolKiller; Like the Bugatti Royale, etc., although later this trend was strangely reversed with the introduction of the landaulet, whereby the VIP's were open to the elements and the driver was protected.
Nowadays you need armor plating and darkened windows to be taken seriously, it's not all progress it seems. ;)
